We are deeply saddened by the loss of Rebecca Cheptegei, a record-breaking Ugandan runner whose strength and talent left a lasting impact. Her untimely death serves as a powerful reminder to continue the fight against domestic abuse and create safer environments for Black women. Rebecca’s legacy will live on, reminding us of the importance of protecting athletes both on and off the field.
