Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception Youth Group, Springfield, IL We are One Body in Christ Together we will participate in social and service activities as well as pray and discuss theology.

Just as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit is in itself communion, the youth group seeks to be drawn closer to God through communion with each other.

Please pray for the repose of the souls of Deacon Frank Maynerich (St. Joseph the Worker, Chatham) and his son Paul, tragically taken in an accident last night. Eternal rest grant unto them, o Lord, and let the perpetual light shine upon them. May their souls, together with all the souls of the faithful departed, rest in peace.

Don't forget: Thursday, August 15 is the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, a holy day of obligation. Mass schedule at Cathedral is: Vigil Mass, August 14 at 5:15 PM; Masses on August 15 at 7:00 AM; 12:05 PM; and 5:15 PM.
