Located on the outskirts of Springfield, Missouri, you’ll find this rural country church has a rich history with deep roots in our community. At Mount Comfort, we like to keep things simple. We’re all about “Knowing Jesus & Making Him Known,” and we do this by loving God, loving others, and reaching the world

. This is reflected in our passions and values as we make disciples and equip the body of Christ for service. Together, those who gather at Mount Comfort desire to spread beauty in a dark world by living faith, hope, and love in every aspect of our lives, reflecting the beauty of our head, the Lord Jesus Christ. As we do life together, we share in the joy of our everyday walk with Christ. This is a place of grace where you are welcome, and you are wanted. This Sunday is a 5th Sunday in the month and you know what that means. We're having a fellowship lunch after the service. Please plan to stay and enjoy spending time together, and eating some great food.

We will be having a Potluck lunch this Sunday after services to celebrate Pastor Tom’s ministry here at Mt. Comfort. So thankful for a Pastor who faithfully serves The Lord and His Word

Please bring a meat dish, side dish, salad, or dessert to share.

We received a visit from Pastor Shadrack from Kenya. He shared with us during the Sunday morning Bible study hour. And visited the Tuesday Bible study as well.

SUNDAY LUNCH

Tomorrow will be the 5th Sunday of August, so we will be having a "5th Sunday Lunch" after service.

Sunday School at 9:30 a.m. and Service at 10:30 a.m.

Everyone is welcome. Please come and plan to stay and visit with friends.

Come and celebrate with us!

While our church was originally established in 1834, the first part of our current sanctuary was dedicated in 1925. 100 years ago!

So we are having a 100 in '25 celebration!

Plan on staying after the service for our annual fish and wild game (and burgers and hotdogs) dinner. This Sunday, July 13th.
