This week at CR SPI: Recovery Action Plan

Do you have a recovery action plan in place? Find out how to develop a plan to help prevent relapse Tuesday at 6:30 pm. In addition to the teaching time, main group will also include worship music, reading through the principles/steps, and praying the Serenity Prayer.

Open Share groups for men and for women follow at 7:30 pm.

The evening wraps up with snacks and conversation in Gathering Grounds cafe, and activities typically end around 8:15.

This is what we're here for. Tip: We all have them!

Learning to recognize the cycle of pain:

Hurts – painful life experiences (loss, abuse, rejection, trauma) that leave deep emotional wounds.

Hang-ups – thoughts and attitudes formed to cope with that pain (fear, anger, shame, resentment, control).

Habits – unhealthy behaviors used for relief that can eventually take over (addictions, compulsions, destructive patterns).

What starts as pain can become patterns—but healing begins with honesty about all three.

This week at CR SPI: Testimony Tuesday - Jessica's story

Hope to see you tomorrow (Tuesday) night at 6:30 as we hear from Jessica about her journey in recovery from substance abuse. We will also read through the principles/steps, worship with music, and pray the Serenity Prayer together.

Open Share groups for women and for men follow at 7:30 pm, and we will wrap up with snacks and conversation in Gathering Grounds cafe.

The evening's activities end about 8:15 or soon after.

All adults are welcome to listen in and/or participate, depending upon your comfort level.

This Tuesday night at CR SPI: Living SHAMELESSLY

If you have ever struggled with shame, this week's lesson is for you. We will learn how to NOT allow shame to rule our lives or keep us from making progress in recovery and experiencing victory over our hurts, habits, and hang-ups.

Main group will also feature the principles/steps, worship music, and the Serenity Prayer.

Open Share groups follow, and the evening wraps up around 8:15, after we enjoy snacks and conversation.

All adults are welcome Tuesdays at 6:30 pm as we gather to find encouragement and accountability in our recovery journeys. This week we will hear from Bill, as he shares the story of his recovery from drugs, alcohol, anger, and s*x addiction. We will also read through the principles/steps and pray the Serenity Prayer together.

Open Share groups follow at 7:30 pm, and the evening will wrap up with snacks and conversation in Gathering Grounds cafe.

This week at CR SPI: CROSSROADS

All adults are welcome Tuesday at 6:30 pm as we gather for large group, worship music, reading through the principles/steps and the Serenity Prayer. This week's topic is CROSSROADS. We all face them, and we can't stop there; we need to continue on the journey. We will explore how to keep making good progress in recovery, rather than becoming complacent and potentially slipping back into unhealthy patterns.
