Glad to announce that the Spring 2026 issue of Primeline, the magazine for senior adults published by the Assemblies of God, is now available online on our SA website (sam.ag.org).

This issue contains two excellent articles about dear friends of ours: Mary Fairrington, who for many years served faithfully as the NorCalNev Women's Director. The NCN Women's Dept was a vital missions arm for the entire network of churches and pastors; so glad we can honor Mary.

The other article features Harley and Kaye Allen, also from California, who faithfully pastored a strong missions-minded church in Concord, CA for many years. (We are grieving with the Allens and all the NCN family, as shortly after the publication of this issue, Bret Allen, the Allen's son and Dist Supt of NCN passed away tragically on May 4... we are praying for Valerie Allen and all the Allen family.)

Also in this Spring issue of Primeline is my column titled, "Don't Just Fade Away!"

To access this issue, go to our website and scroll down to the Primeline icons. If you are a senior adult, 55 or over, you can receive this magazine totally free, mailed to you twice a year. Just give us your contact info on the website, and we will mail the next issue to you!

I love this prayer penned by Dr. George O. Wood in his devotional thoughts about Psalm 125 (verse 1: "Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever.")

GOW told the tragic story of Horatio Stafford, who wrote the words to "It Is Well With My Soul" after the loss of his 4 daughters when a ship sank in the ocean.

The prayer: Lord Jesus, I find it easier to say, "It is well with my soul" when peace like a river attendeth my way than when sorrows like sea billows roll. May I not be a fair-weather friend of Yours. Thank You for stabilizing me when I am shaken and surrounding me when I am defenseless. Help me to go on doing good while I trust You that You always work for my good.

Amen.

ANNOUNCEMENT about the national Assemblies of God SENIOR ADULT CONFERENCE - Sept. 21-23, 2026 - Branson Convention Center!

Our registrations for this Conference are significantly higher than the Conference for 2024; for that we are grateful. BUT we do have a seating limitation in the Convention Ballroom, and because of that, we may have to limit registrations later this summer or put names on a waiting list. Ugh.

At this time in 2024, we had just under 400 registrations, but we ended up with over 800 people attending. Today, we have over 620 registrations for the September conference, but will be limited in seating to 1150-1200 people.

PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD FOR US - those who delay until August or September to register may not be able to get in, plus the Conference fee increases from $129 to $149 on August 21.

We are sorry that the block of rooms in both venues of the Hilton (the main high-rise that connects to the Branson Conv Center and the Promenade across the street), is completely full. BUT...when cancellations come in, rooms may become available. We have advised people to check with the Branson Hilton occasionally just to see if rooms are available.

We do have links to other Branson hotels on our conference website: samconference.ag.org. Thankfully, there are many hotels in Branson, MO.

To all our Springfield/Branson friends - we do have "commuter" prices for the Conference: $25 for Monday night only, $25 for Tuesday night only, $25 for Wed morning only (no meals served with the $25 rate), or $50 for all-day Tuesday - that will include lunch at Convoy of Hope. You can register as a "commuter" on the conference website.

We anticipate a wonderful time of encouragement, inspiration, challenge, and fellowship with over 1,000 senior adults from over 30 different states! We would LOVE for you to be part of this gathering.

You can find all the details, including speakers and musicians, on our conference website: samconference.ag.org

For more information, call our office at 417-862-2781, ext. 4004.

The national AG SENIOR ADULT CONFERENCE will begin exactly 22 weeks from today - Sept. 21, 2026! Branson, MO - Hilton Hotel Convention Center.

Over the weekend, we already hit 500 registrations! We are very thankful for the great numbers, but we must tell everyone there is a seating limitation of just over 1,000 in the ballroom at the Hilton, so please DO NOT delay in registering.

Our conference registration website is: samconference.ag.org
Because of the chapel size at Convoy of Hope, we are needing to cap the number for that "field trip" on Tuesday, Sept. 22 at 700. Again, don't delay in registering.

We feel badly that both of our room blocks at the Hilton Hotels (the regular high-rise that contains the Conv Center, plus the Hilton Promenade across the street) are already completely full. We have placed links for other nearby hotels on the Conference website. Thankfully, Branson has many, many hotel options.

You can find all the conference details on the website..$129 registration (until Aug. 21 when the price increases to $149).

Speakers include Martha Tennison, Hal Donaldson, Rick Ross, and Ruthie Oberg.

If you need more info than you can find on the website, or have questions, you can call our offices at 417-862-2781, ext. 4004.

Sherilyn & I look forward to being in Indiana this Saturday, April 11 - we'll be speaking at the Indiana AG Senior Adult Conference!

The Conference will be held in West Lafayette, IN at Connection Point Church - things begin at 10:00 am, conclusion at 4:00 pm.

One of the best things about the day is that we get to hear our dear friend - MARTHA TENNISON - who is speaking on Saturday afternoon.

Hey Hoosier friends - come and join us! We'd love to see you.

Our national AG Senior Adult Conference is only 24 weeks away - September 21-23, 2026.

We're still looking for more exhibitors to be part of the Conference! Looks like we may have at least 1,000 seniors attending - what a great opportunity for your ministry or organization to have exposure to all these awesome seniors! They can help spread the word about you do for the Kingdom of God, especially for seniors!

For all the info about having an exhibit at the Conference, go to our website: samconference.ag.org, or you can email us at: [email protected]

(if you are a senior adult, please help us by sharing this page with all your friends! Thanks.)

Today - March 21 - is exactly 6 months away from the beginning of the national AG SENIOR ADULT CONFERENCE! We'll meet Sept. 21-23 in Branson, MO at the Hilton Hotel Conference Center!

Registrations are coming in at a fast pace - we're already at 400, anticipating about 1,000 seniors from across the nation! (NOTE: Because of IT renovations, our conference website is down this weekend; it cannot be accessed; sorry about that. Be patient, please.)

We have received the news that our room blocks at both Hilton facilities - the high-rise Hilton that connects to the Conf Center AND the Hilton Promenade across the street - are completely full! But don't give up hope yet - keep checking our website (when it is back up) for availabiity. (samconference.ag.org)

We do know that some of our groups have reserved blocks of rooms for their large SA groups, but will turn some rooms back to the hotel if they do not use them all. SO...some rooms may become available. (If you one of those SA leaders, please be considerate of those people who are anxiously waiting to reserve a room at the Hilton - thank you!)

When you click on the Housing icon on our website, there is a link called Explore Branson where one can check other hotels in Branson - there are many, many to choose from.

The hotel closest to the Hilton is:
Best Western Landing View Inn & Suites
403 W. Main (3 blocks from the Hilton)
417-334-6464

Call our offices it you need more info; we're at 417-862-2781, ext. 4004.

Thanks also for praying for the Conference!!

Important UPDATE about the national AG SENIOR ADULT CONFERENCE...

With 27 weeks to go before the Conference begins - Sept. 21, 2026 - we have 351 registrations already. That is way above where we were 2 years ago for the last Conference.

But the difficult news is this: We have been notified by the Hilton Hotel in Branson that our room block in the main hotel, the high-rise Hilton that connects to the Convention Center, is already totally filled! Ugh.

There are still a few rooms available in our block of rooms across the street at the Hilton Promenade; the room rate ($149) is still available at that hotel. The Promenade is closer to the Branson Landing area with shops and restaurants. (you can reserve those rooms on our conference website listed below)

For those who may not be able to stay at either Hilton, the good news is there are many, many other hotels in Branson where one can stay.
But ALWAYS remember that sometimes cancellations can occur in our room block, so it's a good idea to check our website for booking a room at another hotel.

We'd love to have you with us - join the 1,000 senior adults that will come together for a powerful Conference!

Lord Jesus, as I grow older, I have a choice between:

Counting my bruises or counting my blessings,
Trusting You or testing You,
Grousing or giving thanks,
Regretting my "if onlys" or rejoicing in how You provided.

Keep my mind and heart clear of clutter and confusion so I never forget who You are, what You have done for me, and the bright promise of all that yet lies ahead.

(I read this prayer this morning from a devotional book - "A Psalm In Your Heart," written by George O. Wood, former AG Gen Supt. This powerful prayer concluded GOW's writing about Psalm 71.)

Today marks just 29 weeks before our national Senior Adult Conference takes place in Branson, MO - Sept. 21-23, 2026.
We hope you can join us!

REMEMBER - the best way to make your hotel reservations at the Hilton, in addition to your Conference registration, is to access our conference website: samconference.ag.org

Our room rate for the Conference is $149/night! That rate applies to 3 days before the Conference and 3 days after. Some of you have tried calling the hotel and are being told by some reservationists that the rate is higher. It is not higher. But it is BEST that you make reservations through the Conference website.

If you have problems, call our SA office in Springfield, MO: 417-862-2781, ext. 4004.

A courtesy heads-up: With the fast pace of registrations coming in, it is our guess that both venues of the Hilton (the high-rise connected to the Conference Center AND the Promenade across the street) will be filled no later than May. Don't delay. The good news is that Branson has dozens of other quality hotels, but staying at the Hilton is most convenient.

We'd love to have you join us! Our website is: samconference.ag.org

(Please share this post to all your senior adult friends! Thanks.)
