It's October! Which means it's pastor/staff appreciation month! And we could not be more thrilled to honor the people God appointed and anointed to be our church leaders!
1 Thessalonians 5:12–13 encourages us "to acknowledge those who work hard among you, who care for you in the Lord and who admonish you. Hold them in the highest regard in love because of their work.”
Here at ET, we have one of the greatest teams leading our church family! We have been blessed beyond measure to have leaders who love the Lord with all their hearts, love people so genuinely, are so passionate about pointing us all to Jesus, and are so intentional about reaching the lost.
We are so incredibly thankful for our lead Pastors John & Lynette, and the entire team that God has built and continues to build! Many of us only see what they do on Sundays or Wednesdays, and don't see the hours and hours of preparation that go into making each week happen! From studying the Word, the prayer, the planning, the rehearsals, the meetings, the one on ones, the connect groups, the setting up, the phone calls, the store runs, the cleaning, and all while loving on people in the middle of their chaos, the list goes on and on!
ET staff, each of you have been a leader we have prayed for over so many years that God would bring! You have loved each of us so well, encouraged us, prayed for us, and challenged us to grow in our faith. Every single one of you ARE A GIFT to us!
And we wish we could do so much more to show our appreciation of the sacrifice, dedication, the passion, and hard work each of you put into making ET a place each of us have the opportunity to call our church, "Home"! Here's just a couple of things we appreciate about you.
We love you all and are thankful for WHO you are and everything you do each day!
