Another incredible Sunday at church! We were reminded through the message that waiting through suffering isn’t wasted time. Even when the waiting is hard, God is faithful, He is working, and He gives us strength to patiently endure. 🙏

We also had an amazing time connecting with our young adults, sharing community, coffee, donuts, and conversation. ☕️

And we ended the day with a beautiful Worship Night, lifting our eyes to Jesus and making space to simply worship His name. 🙌

From the waiting, to the connecting, to the worship… God is moving, and we’re so thankful to be part of it!

August has already been full of joy at ET! We celebrated Pastor Dick and Carolyn Bishop as they stepped into a new chapter of retirement, kicked off our new series, Raising Humans, and gathered as a church family to celebrate all that’s ahead.

This is the next generation we keep talking about!

The generation we’re praying for, pouring into, and pointing to Jesus. The ones who will know His love, stand firm in their faith, and carry the Gospel into the world around them.

It starts with us showing them what it looks like to love Jesus, follow Jesus, and live like Jesus.

We don’t just pray for the next generation...we get to raise them!

August is an exciting month at Evangel Temple!

As summer winds down and families prepare for a new school year, we’re celebrating new beginnings all around our church. This past Sunday was Move Sunday, where we celebrated students moving up to the next grade and all that God has ahead for them! 🎒📚

We also had the joy of welcoming new faces at our Welcome Party! We’re so glad you’re here and that you’re part of the ET family!

And we’re just getting started! There’s so much more ahead this month, including Next Steps the next two Sundays and our BIG Back to School Celebration on Sunday, August 30! 🎉

This is the perfect time to invite a friend, a neighbor, a coworker, or a family member to find a church home for the coming school year. You never know what one invitation could mean in someone’s life.
