There is one God Who progressively reveals His will to humanity. Each of the great religions brought by the Messengers of God -- Abraham, Krishna, Moses, Buddha, Zoroaster, Jesus, and Muhammad -- represents a successive stage in the development of civilization, each addressing the problems of their age. The major religions are like different chapters in the same book, are all from the same God, un
folding Divine truth to mankind over time consistent with our capacity to understand. Bahá'u'lláh, whose name translates in English to "The Glory Of God", is the most recent Messenger in this line and has brought teachings that address the moral, social, and spiritual challenges of the modern world. He is the founder of the Baha'i Faith and His main mission is unity, the oneness of humankind, and world peace. The Bahá'í Faith provides teachings and a structure through which universal peace can be obtained and established in this age.
