Missionary Highlight - Jabari Woodard
"My wife and I are from Jacksonville Florida. We met in high school at Ribualt High, and have been together since then. We have two beautiful babies who are social butterflies at the age of 3 and 2, which tells me God is going to use them in so many ways. We are missionary associates under pastors David and Tammy Houck (appointed general missionaries also with Intercultural) in the Ocala national forest. Where we work with families, some not all, that live in third world conditions in a first world country. We offer free summer camps for the children of the forest throughout the summer with the goal of feeding them physically in hopes to feed them spiritually, through the power of the Holy Spirit. Youth groups across pen Florida come to serve the children of the forest to get practical ministry and missions experience, while teaching life skills and being a representative of Christ our Lord and savior. We help and mentor children through our mentor centers throughout the school year and summer programs. We lead our internship program “plungers to pulpits” which teaches aspiring young missionaries, pastors, young adult or teens how to serve at the lowest level (plungers) yes that means learning to clean toilets, before they can effectively serve behind the pulpit."
