🍁🎃 Little Moments, Big Reminders of God's Faithfulness! ❤️

What a joy it was to spend Saturday morning with our FCC Preschool families at our Fall Party! From hayrides and pumpkin picking to raking leaves and sharing lunch together, the morning was filled with laughter, fellowship, and sweet memories. What a blessing to simply spend time together!

This past Sunday, our preschoolers learned about Elijah and the Widow (1 Kings 17:1–16) and how God faithfully provided for their needs, even when things seemed uncertain.

Our Bible story reminded us of a wonderful truth:

❤️ “I can trust God no matter what!”

As parents, we know life doesn't always go as planned. There are busy days, unexpected challenges, and moments when we wonder how everything will work out. But just as God cared for Elijah and the widow, we can trust Him to care for us, too.

🍂 A little encouragement for this week: Look for opportunities to notice God's faithfulness in the everyday moments. Talk with your children about the ways God provides for your family, and remind them that even when things feel uncertain, God is always trustworthy.

We are so thankful for our FCC Preschool families and the opportunity to grow in faith, build friendships, and make sweet memories together! ❤️

Little hearts, big truths, and faithful helping hands! ❤️✂️

This past Sunday, our preschoolers learned about Elijah and the Widow (1 Kings 17:1–16). Through an oil and flour activity, they explored how God provided for Elijah and the widow, learning “I can trust God no matter what!”

Our wonderful Sip & Snip group faithfully meets each month to prepare materials for our preschoolers including this week’s activity! A few members are missing from this photo, but we’re grateful for every one of them. Just as the widow’s flour and oil didn’t run out, this group helps keep our supply of learning activities going! 😊

We love and appreciate this group! When you see them, please thank them for the time and care they pour into our preschool ministry. ❤️

🏡 This week, ask your preschooler, “How did God take care of Elijah and the widow?” Then pray together, thanking God for taking care of your family, too.

🌊 Trusting God when the walls feel close

I want to be bold, courageous, and all in until the things I’m afraid of feel like walls surrounding me. Then worry and doubt can creep in. Can you relate?

When God parted the Red Sea, the Israelites still had to walk between walls of water. I wonder how that felt! God made a way, and they had to trust Him enough to take the next step.

This week, let’s help our children practice this truth: “I can trust God will show me the way.”

We can begin with one simple habit: Pray first. Before we rush to fix, react, or worry, we can pause and invite our children to pray with us.

💙 When parents feel overwhelmed: “I don’t know how everything will work out, but I can ask God for wisdom and take the next step.”

💙 When children are nervous about their classroom: “Let’s ask God to help you be brave. We can walk in together and talk to your teacher.”

💙 When a friendship feels hard: “Let’s pray, then choose kind words or ask a trusted grown-up for help.”

💙 When someone we love is sick: “We can tell God we’re scared, pray for them, and find a way to show we care.”

Trusting God doesn’t mean we never feel afraid or that everything goes the way we hope. We can bring Him our fears and keep taking the next faithful step.

🙏 “God, when worry feels big, help us remember You are with us. Show us the way and give us courage to follow. Amen.”

🌊 This week, our preschoolers heard how God parted the Red Sea and made a way for Moses and His people!

Our story focus was: “I can trust God will show me the way.”

We want our little ones to know that their strength comes from God. When they feel unsure, face something new, or need courage, they can trust His love and follow His lead. ❤️

Join us in praying that these Bible stories help our preschoolers see God’s power, know His love, and grow in confidence that whatever comes their way, God’s got it!

Happy Sunday, preschool families! 🍂❤️ We’re so glad to welcome your little ones today, October 11!

Our Bible story is Moses and the Sea (Exodus 13:17–18:14). We’ll learn how God made a way for His people and remind our preschoolers: “I can trust God will show me the way."

What a joy it is to learn about Jesus together and share His love! Through songs, stories, and play, we’re helping little hearts discover how much God loves them. We can’t wait to see you! ❤️

Don't forget to sign up for the party ! 🎃

🌿 Parent Encouragement 🌿

On Sunday, our preschoolers learned about Moses and the burning bush. Moses had questions and God patiently reminded him that He would be with him. What a comforting reminder for our children and for us: We can have questions and still trust God! ❤️

We may not have a burning bush to get our attention, but we can intentionally make room to listen and learn from God in everyday moments:

📖 Open His Word together. Even a short Bible story gives us something to talk about and carry into our day.

🙏 Make space for prayer. At breakfast, in the car, or before bed, pray, “God, help us listen and trust You today.”

💬 Welcome their questions. “That’s a good question! Let’s learn together.” We don’t have to know every answer to help our children grow in faith.

🤍 Model trust. Let your child hear you say, “I’m not sure what will happen, but I know God is with us.”

In the middle of busy family life, a few intentional moments can help us turn our hearts toward God. We can bring Him our questions and help our little ones do the same.

Who’s got it? God’s got it! 🌿

🔥🌿 God’s Got It! Our sweet preschoolers learned about Moses and the burning bush this week. They heard that even when Moses had questions, nothing was too hard for God!

🌙 Feeling afraid at bedtime

Have a little heart-to-heart with your preschooler:
💬 “What is something that feels hard for you?”
💛 “How do you feel when you try something new?”
🙏 “Who can we talk to when we feel worried or scared?”

Remind them: “God loves you, and He is with you. We can ask Him for help even when something is still hard!” 🤗

What a beautiful morning at Church on the Lawn! 🌳☀️ It was amazing to see our whole church family gathered for one service, all generations worshiping together at the same time. From our littlest children to parents, grandparents, and longtime members, it was a sweet picture of the family of God. 💛

Parents, those moments matter. When your preschooler sees people of every age singing, praying, and worshiping, they begin to discover that they belong to a church family that loves Jesus and loves them!

Keep the conversation going this week:

💛 “Who did you enjoy seeing at church?” Talk about the people who make up our church family.

🎶 “What did you notice while everyone was singing?” Share something you loved about worshiping together.

🌿 “What’s something God made that you saw outside?” Take turns noticing His creation.

🙏 “Who in our church family can we pray for?” Say a simple prayer together.

You don’t need perfect words or a planned lesson. Little conversations about shared experiences help plant seeds of faith! 🌱

☀️ What a beautiful Sunday for Church on the Lawn!

It was so special to see our preschool families together, worshiping and enjoying time with our church family. Our beautiful campus gave us such a wonderful place to gather, and the gorgeous weather made the morning even sweeter! 🌳💛

The lawn is quiet again and everything is tucked away, but the sweet memories remain. Until next year, Church on the Lawn! ❤️
