Prayer-warriors,
Amanda and I need everyone, as soon as you read this, to stop and pray. Amanda's mother fell last night, and wound up at Madison Health Hospital in London where she is in acute congestive heart failure. They are about to transfer her to Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster, where her cardiologist and heart surgeon are on staff.
Amanda is getting ready to leave to head over to Lancaster, get a hotel room, and be available there. I will be staying here with Doree for the time-being - but - there is a chance I may be needed in Lancaster later today or tonight, and the church should be prepared just in case I cannot be there tomorrow. I will keep everyone informed with updates as I get them. For right now, I am planning on being at church tomorrow morning, but wanted to let you all know - just in case.
Please pray for Joy Brewer, Amanda's mom, as she faces this trial.
Lord Jesus, Great Healer,
We turn our hearts and our attention to You right now, to pray for our sister; your daughter, Joy, in her time of great need.
To You be all honor, glory and praise, for we know all good things come from You.
We pray send Your angels and Your power to cover Joy with your love, and with your healing.
We pray for the doctors, nurses, technicians, and every attendant who tends to her.
We pray for her pain to be eased, for her heart to be healed, and for Your mighty will to be known.
Our Lord and Savior; Your beloved Son Jesus said to lift our concerns and our pleas to You in His name, and we do so now, Lord.
Your disciples here and everywhere, stand ready to do whatever we can do; however You will it.
We send this prayer to Your mighty throne, in Jesus' name, our Savior, and our Redeemer.
