Join the City of Springfield, Clark County Combined Health District, MVCDC Head Start and Hall Hunger Initiative for an important community conversation on food insecurity.

Beyond Hunger: Understanding the Challenges, Building Community Solutions will feature a panel discussion exploring the causes and impacts of hunger in our community, followed by an open discussion where residents can share perspectives, ask questions and help identify solutions.

Together, we can better understand the challenges facing local families and work toward building a healthier, stronger community.

We are super excited about our Pride shirts that we have designed and will be wearing this year at our Springfield Pride Booth. We think that they share an important message and would love to see people wearing them! So, if you do not know what you are wearing yet this year, click the link below to check them out, as we have a few different variants on the shirt, including a Love Your Selfie option (Love Your Selfie Booth will be Back again this year!). Below is a pic of the basic shirt that most of us will be wearing. 20% from the sale of the shirts will be going to our Pride Event Budget, as you all know we love to hand out Swag! ☀️ Fill Your Summer Pantry, Springfield! 🥫🍎

Thanks to a generous grant from the City of Springfield, Second Harvest Food Bank of Clark, Champaign & Logan Counties will host a special community food distribution for Springfield residents.

📍 Where: Springfield High School
📅 When: Saturday, June 6
🕙 Time: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
📌 Springfield residents only

This distribution is designed to help local families stock their pantries with essential grocery items for the summer months.

Things to know:
✅ Open to all Springfield residents seeking food assistance
🪪 Please bring a valid photo ID
⏰ Do not line up before 9:00 AM
🚗 Everyone in line by 2:00 PM will be served

A special thank you to City of Springfield and Mercy Health Springfield's Medical Staff for sponsoring this event and helping us provide food to neighbors in need.
