Don't forget- Common Meal is making a comeback tomorrow! This week only we'll have ONE service at 9, and enjoy a brunch themed Common Meal at 10:30!

If you're new to Solid Rock, or unfamiliar with Common Meal, it's just our way of saying we're having a good ol' fashioned church potluck! Just bring a brunch themed dish to share and drop it off in the kitchen prior to our 9 o'clock service! Following our gathering, we'll share a meal together in the Community Room once all of the kids have been picked up from class.

Our dear friend and sister, Jane Petrak went home to her eternal reward last week. Jane was an integral part of Solid Rock for over 15 years. She taught kids' church, organized Safe to Sleep meals and assisted in refugee ministry. She was a welcoming and loving presence, and she will be dearly missed.

Please join us on Saturday, May 23rd at 1pm to remember Jane and honor her life well lived.

Are you looking for a way to give? We've got just the thing!

We are welcoming several refugee families to the area this week and they are in need of household furniture, furnishings, hygiene items and some other odds & ends. Needs are listed on post-its in the lobby. (We can send you a list if that's helpful!)

Do you have a bookshelf you aren't using? A dresser? A set of dishes? Let us know in the comments!
