Dear CCNJ family:

With deep regret, but also with the firm hope we have in Christ Jesus, we inform you that our beloved brother Carlos A. Aviles has left for the presence of the Lord.

Carlos was a man who lived to serve. His love for people, his generous heart towards those in need and his passion for missions, both local and international, left an indelible mark on our congregation and in all those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Our brother Carlos ended his earthly career and now rests in the presence of the One whom he loved and served faithfully.

We thank God for his life, for his example of compassion, for his prayers, for his sacrifices and for every soul that was reached through his obedience to the call of God.

Although we will no longer see him among us, the fruit of his life will continue to speak and bless many.

As a church, we extend our most sincere condolences and prayers to Pastor Michelle, her family and loved ones. May the Holy Spirit, our Comforter, strengthen you, sustain you and remind you of the glorious promise that one day we will reunite with all those who have left in Christ.

As soon as we have the official information of his funeral service, we will be communicating it to you.

For now, pray for our Sis. Michelle and let's give her the space needed so that she can strengthen herself and process this very difficult moment.

Querida familia de CCNJ:

Con profundo pesar, pero también con la esperanza firme que tenemos en Cristo Jesús, les informamos que nuestro amado hermano Carlos A. Aviles ha partido a la presencia del Señor.

Carlos fue un hombre que vivió para servir. Su amor por las personas, su corazón generoso hacia los necesitados y su pasión por las misiones, tanto locales como internacionales, dejaron una marca imborrable en nuestra congregación y en todos aquellos que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo.

Nuestro Hno. Carlos terminó su carrera terrenal y ahora descansa en la presencia de Aquel a quien amó y sirvió fielmente.

Damos gracias a Dios por su vida, por su ejemplo de compasión, por sus oraciones, por sus sacrificios y por cada alma que fue alcanzada a través de su obediencia al llamado de Dios.

Aunque ya no lo veremos entre nosotros, el fruto de su vida continuará hablando y bendiciendo a muchos.

Como iglesia, extendemos nuestras más sinceras condolencias y oraciones a la Pastora Michelle, su familia y seres queridos. Que el Espíritu Santo, nuestro Consolador, les fortalezca, les sostenga y les recuerde la promesa gloriosa de que un día nos reuniremos nuevamente con todos aquellos que han partido en Cristo.

Tan pronto tengamos la información oficial de su servicio fúnebre, se lo estaremos comunicando.

Por ahora pedimos sus oraciones por nuestra Hna. Michelle y que por favor le den el espacio que ella necesita para que pueda fortalecerse y procesar este momento tan difícil.
