We are sadden to hear of another member that has gone home to be with the Lord. Please pray for the Harmon family in the passing of Eldon. Visitation will be at Greenlawn North Thursday, August 13 from 10-11 a.m. with Celebration of Life following at 11:00. Burial will be at Roberson Prairie right after the service.

We are sadden to hear of the passing of Joan Dowell. Please keep Bro. Bill and the family in your prayers. Here is a note from Bro. Dowell:

After a brief illness due to a fall, my wife, Charlotte Joan Dowell, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday evening, August 4, 2026. She was 86. I and my two sons and several other family members were with her when she passed at Cox Hospital.

Joan came to know the Lord as her Savior early in life and lived a godly life, faithfully serving the Lord until God called her home. She raised three children, Connie Dowell Allison, Stephen Dowell, and David Dowell. She was loved by all who knew her, and she will be dearly missed.

We were married 68 years. While our heart is broken, we look forward to seeing her again soon.

Funeral arrangements are as follows: Visitation - Monday, Aug. 10 from 6-8 p.m.
Funeral -Tuesday, Aug. 11 at 10:00 a.m.
Both will be held at Greenlawn North.

Another wonderful evening of fellowship at Panera. We heard from our very own missionaries to Bolivia, Barbara Frizzell and Missy Sanders. Missy shared about her daily life in Bolivia, from teaching discipleship courses to teaching children. Please pray for the need of younger missionaries to go to the mission field. Hebrews 10:25: "Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another."
