🎬 NEW SERIES: GROWN UPS

You can grow older without ever really growing up.

That’s part of what makes Grown Ups such a memorable movie…the characters are adults. They have families, responsibilities, careers and years of life behind them… yet somehow, they’re still learning what it actually means to grow up.

We may find ourselves wrestling with the same reality in our walk with God.

We can spend years in church, know Scripture, serve faithfully, worship passionately and even operate in spiritual gifts… and still have areas of our spiritual life that needs to mature.

Years in church and spiritual maturity are not always the same thing.

In this new series, GROWN UPS, we’re going back to the Word to discover what mature Christianity actually looks like.

🍇 We’ll talk about maturing the fruit of the Spirit…allowing the Holy Spirit to shape our character, responses, relationships and desires.

🔥 Then we’ll talk about responsibly stewarding the gifts of the Spirit because being gifted doesn’t automatically mean we’re mature enough to handle what God has placed in our hands.

The goal isn’t just to become more gifted.

It’s to become more like Jesus.

Our gifts may make room for us, but our fruit determines whether we will stay in the room.

It’s time to grow deeper.
It’s time to grow wiser.
It’s time to GROW UP.

Buried with Christ, raised to new lifeđź’š

What a beautiful Sunday celebrating new beginnings, bold faith, and lives changed by Jesus. Baptism is more than a moment—it’s a declaration of who we are and who we belong to.
So grateful to witness God moving in our church family today!

“We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.” - Romans‬ ‭6‬:‭4‬

What a Sunday. What a Savior!

Family… tomorrow we begin something NEW! 🔥

After a much-needed season of rest, reflection, and renewal, I’m grateful to be returning to the pulpit tomorrow as we launch our brand-new series:

CATCH ME OUTSIDE 🎣

The heart behind this series is simple: we are equipped inside so that we can reach people outside.

We gather to worship.
We gather to pray.
We gather to heal.
We gather to grow.
We gather to be discipled.

But eventually, everything God develops inside the house has to make its way outside of the house.

Jesus said, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.” — Matthew 4:19

Following Jesus was never meant to end with us. He calls us IN, transforms us, and then sends us OUT so that somebody else can encounter the same grace that changed our lives.

And tomorrow, we get to see a beautiful picture of that transformation as we celebrate BAPTISMS! 🌊🙌🏽

People are going public with their faith and declaring that their old life no longer defines them—that they have been raised to NEW LIFE in Jesus Christ!

“We were therefore buried with Him through baptism into death in order that… we too may live a new life.” — Romans 6:4

There’s something powerful about launching a series about following Jesus and reaching people while simultaneously watching people publicly declare, “I have decided to follow Jesus.”

That’s the mission.
That’s the Gospel.
That’s why the Church exists.

And after some intentional time away from the pulpit, I’m coming back refreshed, refocused, and ready to preach what God has placed on my heart for this house.

Tomorrow we’re going from FOLLOWERS TO FISHERS. 🎣

Family, don’t come alone. There’s somebody in your life who needs what God is doing in this season.
