Sunday, we reflect on our own individual personal experiences with God, that produce unique perspectives on our Lord for each one of us. How do we know what experiences reveal the true God; are in accordance with God's will for us and the church; and point us to greater life in Christ?
Sunday is our monthly lunch at a nearby restaurant, following the service. You are welcome to join us!

Sunday, we will conclude our journey through Acts with Paul reaching his final destination in Rome (Acts 28), where we see that the grace & glory of Christ is revealed in the most unexpected places.

Sunday, Paul is shipwrecked on Malta and is bitten by a snake as he puts wood on the fire. (Acts 28:1-6). There is much to learn in this vivid short story about life, labor, sin, death, and salvation!

Sunday, we continue our adventure with Paul, as he is arrested in Jerusalem. When he is threatened with scourging, he invokes his rights as a Roman citizen to appeal to Caesar. (Acts 22:22-29). We hear much about citizenship in our modern time. What does it mean to be a citizen in God's Kingdom?

Sunday, we will hear from Acts of the love of Christians for one another (Acts 20:36-38; 21:4-5, 12-14) as we have an activity will help us creatively share love and prayer.

Sunday, we hear Paul's farewell speech to the Ephesian elders as he departs to Jerusalem, "bound in the Spirit, not knowing what shall befall me there." Acts 20:17-24. Life in faith demands courage & pursuit of God's purpose, even when--especially when--the future is unknown to us.

Sunday, we consider Acts 19 and the "Sons of Sceva," who try to use the name of Jesus to exorcise a demon, but end up taking an unholy beating. Where did they go wrong, and how can we avoid their mistake?

Sunday, we continue in Acts as the people of Lystra try to sacrifice a bull to Paul and Barnabas in response to their healing of a lame man. (Acts 14). "Sacrifice" sounds familiar to us, but the Lystrans and the apostles had very different ideas about what "sacrifice" meant. Is our Christian faith "just another religion"? Isn't one way of belief just as true as another? The first Christians, like us, lived in a diverse world of many religious influences, but trusted in Christ alone.
