It was a beautiful morning to worship with the Wartburg Parish disciples of St. John’s, Post Oak and St. Peter’s, W**e Hill! Pastor Kristen was blessed by the visit and the chance to meet disciples of all ages. We reflected on Paul’s words to the faithful in Rome: “if it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.” Conflict is inevitable, but through Christ, peace is possible. The communities are served by Vicar Anne Terry, a collaborative learning student (part-time synod authorized minister and full-time seminary student).

Thank you, Trinity, Macomb, for your hospitality, and a beautiful worship service! Pastor Kristen was grateful for the opportunity to be present as part of the NW conference Synod Day. We were reminded that in baptism God draws us out of the water like Moses and gives us new life, calling us into ministry.
