On September 10, 2010, Pastor Jessie Herring accepted the call from God to start His ministry. Pastor Paul & Pastor Jessie agreed to fast and pray together awaiting God’s instructions. When everything began to fall into place the Lord gave Pastor Jessie the name “Table of Life Ministries” Together they called Pastor Ricky Garvin and told him about our vision and what the Spirit of the Lord had rea

ffirmed with them. All three went into prayer and fasting again seeking the Lord guidance on accomplishing the vision He had given them. Pastor Garvin accepted the call to be the Overseer. Lead by the Spirit of God they were given the date of October 31, 2010 at 6Oclock p.m. to be commissioned by God, to begin the Ministry. The Table began in the basement of their home at 2431 West Lawrence Avenue, Springfield, IL. It was a great Holy Ghost filled church that held 34 people. The first member of Table Of Life Ministries was Pastor Jessie‘s oldest brother Robert Hills, the first family was Peter and Trishaun Morris and their son Joshua Conley was the first child member.

With heartfelt gratitude, we're celebrating the abundance we've shared. As we prepare for our Annual Youth Ministry Vacation Trip, we'll be taking a short break from our Thursday Food Giveaway on June 25, 2026, and look forward to reconnecting on July 2, 2026, when we'll resume spreading joy and nourishment.
