My latest CPH blog post is up! I thought of it as my "communion of saints" article, but they renamed it to emphasize passing down faith, which also goes along with the generational theme. I love the picture they are using with it!

See how God grants us all His Word to carry through generations so that we may one day see Jesus as the disciples first did after His resurrection.

Happy New Year, sisters! We've got both new and continuing online small-group studies beginning this week and next! Our new Tuesday evening study in partnership with Good Shepherd, Reston, begins tomorrow night, January 5--Galatians with Beth Moore!
WoW Wednesday mornings starts its winter/spring semester next Wednesday, Jan. 13, when we'll introduce our two continuing and one new study! And we have a Wednesday evening study beginning Jan 13 called Present Over Perfect! Go to www.poplc.org/women for more info and to sign up!

Our Fall 2020 groups begin next week! We'll have multiple EVENING and DAYTIME studies! Our first WoW Wednesday morning of the fall is next Wednesday, Sept. 16, online at 9:20 am. Evening studies begin the following week. Everything's ONLINE, so you don't need to be in the Springfield area to participate. Ladies, we've made the decision that all of our Women of the Word Bible studies will be virtual this fall, at least through December. That opens up some possibilities--number one being that you won't need to live close to the church to join a study! Something else we're looking at is having groups at different times/days than just Wednesday and Sunday mornings. We'll still have one or more Wednesday morning studies, but one or more weekday evening studies are also a possibility, if we have enough women who are willing to lead and/or participate in the evening. If you have been thinking about getting more involved, now is the time to start! Please let me know if you'd like to (1) lead a small group, (2) help out with tech for a small-group leader or participant who might need help with getting online, (3) would like to join a small group at a time other than Wednesday or Sunday morning this fall, or (4) have a topic, book, study, or other resource that you'd like us to consider as we make choices for the fall. What are your needs for fellowship and study as we navigate this strange and challenging time? How can you use your gifts to help your sisters in Christ?
