Important Notice: Cemetery Decoration Guidelines
Dear Families and Visitors,
We truly value the care and love you show your loved ones through memorial decorations. However, over time, some non-compliant mementos and grave decorations have made it increasingly difficult for our groundskeeping team to maintain the cemetery.
To ensure Rose Hill Burial Park remains beautiful and well cared for, beginning August 18th, we will begin removing all decorations that do not meet cemetery guidelines. These items will be carefully boxed, labeled, and stored at our maintenance facility for 60 days, after which they will be respectfully discarded if not claimed.
If you would prefer to remove any items yourself, please do so before August 18th.
As a reminder, during our lawn care season (typically March 1st through November 1st), all decorations must be placed within the vase on the memorial marker.
There are a few exceptions to this rule around certain holidays — Mother’s Day, Memorial Day, Father’s Day, and the 4th of July — when additional items may be placed outside the vase. We kindly ask that these holiday items be removed within five days so our team can continue regular maintenance.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we work to preserve the beauty and dignity of Rose Hill Burial Park. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact our office at 937-322-5172.
Warm regards,
The Rose Hill Burial Park Team
