Here is a scenario. Mankind sinned against God and God is determined to pass judgment on them. The Son of God intervenes and stands between the Father and sinners. He begs the father to let him go and die for the sins of the world. The Father eventually agrees and the Son needed to be diligent to get to earth to pay the ransom. He has died on the cross so it is now up to us whether or not we are going to be saved. What is the name of this religion? What is this scenario called? And why?

"The LORD also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the LORD will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the (children of God - the Church)" (Joel 3:16).

The message from today's earthquake? There is nowhere to run. That fear that you felt today, was based on the knowledge that, at any moment, you can be standing before the Great Judge and you're not ready. Only Jesus saves. Repent and believe the gospel.

And that is how suddenly it can happen, my friends.

"See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:
Heb 12:26 Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven". (Heb 10:25-26) Take God seriously. Repent and believe the gospel.

Some professing Christians still consult their horoscopes. They speak in terms of which "sign" is compatible with which "sign". And they are convinced that their lives and personalities are controlled by their astrological "sign". This would strongly suggest that they have a false conversion, because it is an evil and adulterous generation that seeks after a "sign". Furthermore, horoscopes, astrology and stargazing are all aspects of the worship of the sun god Baal. It is part of the falling away. You may claim to be innocent of the charge of turning your back on God because you do not follow the stars. But not so fast. Baal's wife is known as the Queen of Heaven (Jer 7:18 - except we do not make "cakes" but hot cross buns). She is also known as Ashtaroth (Jdg 10:6), Ishtar or Astarte. And she also goes by the name of the pagan goddess called Easter. Are you perishing for lack of knowledge? Ignorance of the law is no excuse. Time to exchange the Easter Bonnet for the Helmet of Salvation. To be under the Easter bonnet is to be controlled by the sun god. To be controlled by the sun god is to "Have the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:" (eph 4:18). The only light you will get from the sun god is mind blinding fake light (2Cor 4:6), If you believe in horoscopes and chain letters and all such, this means YOU.

Many people love to say that, "No weapon formed against me shall prosper" (Isa 54:17). But we need to be careful because your understanding of what you think that means can cost you your life.

It's a common mistake to assume that, if God asks or commands us to do something, we can do it in and of ourselves. But this is not so my brethren.

If someone is from a non-Christian religion and they are very sincere, and they love God with all of their heart, doing their best to be a good person; will they be granted entrance into heaven when they die? If yes, why? and if no, why not?

Do we realize that many people are under the judgment of God for tying to be good? do we realize that those who live by the Golden Rule that we should do unto others as we would like them to do unto us, are going to split hell wide open? Do you further realize that if you believe that God will weigh your good deeds against your bad deeds and let you into heaven, that you will be flung into eternal damnation? Plus, if you have convinced yourself that you are basically good, you are in danger of hellfire. People who try to live a "good" life are under the judgment of God because al such attempts are seen by God as being rebellion. First of all, Jesus said there is none good (Mark 10:18). So why are you trying to prove him wrong? That's rebellion. So if you try to be good apart from the cross of Christ and the grace of God, you are in rebellion against the Righteous One. Next, "there is none righteous" (Rom 3:10) And you are not the exception. It is necessary to be clothed in the goodness and righteousness of Christ in order to be accepted by God. You cannot approach God to gain access into heaven in your own name. You need a Mediator to represent you in the law courts of heaven To reject the goodness of Christ in favor of your own goodness is rebellion punishable by eternal damnation. Christ, being both 100% God and 100% man, his sacrifice has eternal ramifications with infinite value and will save you to the uttermost. Like Paul, repent of your own goodness now (Php 3:4-9). When a man knows the sickness of his own heart he is inclined to flee for help. but multitudes are deceived by their own goodness. They say that since God knows their hearts, he will agree with them. But Jeremiah (17:9) warns that "The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?" You may think that does not apply to you but Proverbs warns you, "He that trusts in his own heart is a fool: but whoso walks wisely, he shall be delivered (Prov 28:26). It is never wise to contradict the word of God nor to ignore his diagnosis of your condition. Repent and believe the gospel.

If Christ came to do the Father's will, it means that he entered into an Agreement with the Father as to what he would like to have done. Christ did not just come to earth. He was sent with specific instructions as to the expectations of the Father. To do this there must have been pre-Adamic conversations among the members of the Godhead. Not pre-Adamic civilisations. Pre-Adamic conversations, because Adam was not as yet created. The Godhead anticipated and allowed sin to enter into the world, but there were conversations as to how sin and death would be eradicated and how believers would be redeemed from the penalty of the law and the power of sin and death, and this was all outlined in the Covenant of Redemption. Because most of us have been sidetracked by other theologies and doctrines, we have lost sight of the centrality of covenant. But covenant is at the heart of what God is doing in the earth. For instance, God administers his kingdom through covenant and if this is so, then how can we truly be seeking first the kingdom if we know little or nothing about covenant? Beloved, I understand that my posts are not popular. I understand that I should have more cat videos, tell endless jokes and be as trivial as I can be. But that is never going to happen. We live in a day where regardless of the outward show, taking the time to know and understand sound doctrine, is not very popular. But think about it. If God administers his kingdom through covenants, and not through a fiction called dispensations, and we do not understand covenant, then what are we really going to find should we seek first the kingdom of God? Beloved, I encourage you to get to know covenant, only so will we truly understand what the blood of the everlasting covenant has accomplished for us.
