Let’s fill these bins! Last chance to donate for the OCLife Donation Drive

In August, Orthodox Christians for Life (OCLife) will be hosting a donation drive at our parish community to support local charities: Compassion House and Loving Choices. Suggested items for donation: Walmart and Amazon gift cards, Clorox cleaning wipes, other cleaning supplies for bathrooms and kitchens, facial tissues, stroller fans, sound machines, bottle warmers, digital thermometers, baby wash, baby lotion, Little Remedies Gas Relief Drops, and Dr. Talbot’s Paci-Medicine Dispensers.

OCLife Donation Drive – August 2026

In August, Orthodox Christians for Life (OCLife) will be hosting a donation drive at our parish community to support local charities: Compassion House and Loving Choices. Compassion House is a local residential facility where teen mothers receive training and support, and the DHS will consider whether to approve them to serve young women in the foster care system soon. Loving Choices offers support and mentorship to both mothers and fathers experiencing unexpected parenthood. Suggested items for donation: Walmart and Amazon gift cards, Clorox cleaning wipes, other cleaning supplies for bathrooms and kitchens, facial tissues, stroller fans, sound machines, bottle warmers, digital thermometers, baby wash, baby lotion, Little Remedies Gas Relief Drops, and Dr. Talbot’s Paci-Medicine Dispensers. Join us on Saturday, August 15 as we celebrate the Dormition of the Theotokos with Festal Orthros at 9:00a and Festal Liturgy at 10:00a followed by Lunch Outing (at Freddy’s Steakburgers in Tontitown).

Please note we will offer Great Vespers on Saturday after the lunch outing, approx. 1:00p.

Also, if you’d like to bring some herbs and flowers from your gardens to be blessed at the Feast, please do so!

Baseball Game Outing – Friday, August 28

We are attending the Northwest Arkansas Naturals baseball game on Friday, August 28 at 7:00p. The ballpark is across I-49 from the church. Group tickets are $11 (including fees). Please contact Fr. Paul (502-592-9981 or [email protected]) to confirm your tickets so we can secure a group rate and seating.
