SCC LIVE with Pastor Jimmy

We honor the legacy of Rev. John D. Lewis, the founding pastor of Shepherd Park Community Church, now known as Springdale Community Church. We also recognize the founding first family - his wife, Sis. Helen Marie affectionately known as “Sister Billie” and their sons, Mark and Tony, as original charter members. Rev. Lewis’ courage and commitment to serving God laid the foundation for a ministry that continues to impact lives and strengthen our community. As we reflect with gratitude on his leadership, we celebrate a visionary whose legacy lives on in the life, faith, and ongoing mission of Springdale Community Church. Generations later, we still gather, worship, serve, lead, disciple, teach, love, reach and unashamedly minister the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

It was a tremendous honor to host the CDP Church of God General Assembly Meeting and represent the heart of Springdale Community Church under the leadership of Pastor Jimmy Terry.

Our cups are still overflowing by the ministry, vision sharing, and leadership of our guest speaker, Pastor Monte' L. G. Dillard, Sr., Interim General Director of Church of God Ministries - Anderson, Indiana. His message entitled, “Enough to Keep Going”, was a timely, powerful charge to “strengthen what remains” (Revelation 3:2).

The smiles at Springdale reflects how much we enjoyed the beautiful Autumn Harvest gathering, in spite of the rain. A special thank you to our Hospitality Ministry for their dedication and faithful service in making today so memorable. 🍂
