Happy Mother's Day to all our moms at Risen Church.
To the mom, who stayed up all night with a sick child.
The grandmother, raising her grandchildren.
The stepmom, who stepped in and loved without hesitation.
The foster mom, who opened her home and loves those children.
The woman, who longs to be a mother and carries that quietly.
The spiritual mother, who prayed, poured into our lives, and showed up.
All forms of motherhood are vital for our lives and spiritual growth.
We also hold close those for whom today feels tender. If this day brings grief, longing, or complicated feelings, you are seen, you are loved, and we will be here to help carry you through today.
