Put away your old life, now that you are in Christ is what Paul is urging all the believers in Ephesus. Once we have put on our new selves in Christ, we should drive to continue walking in the light.

As the Lord has been bringing more and more people to our body, our kids’ classrooms have been filling to the brim, so we’ve been working toward creating more space to welcome kids on Sunday mornings!

We are excited to announce that after many months of planning, construction on these rooms has finally started! But that does come with a few temporary changes…

Here’s what to expect:
- Construction will only affect classrooms on the office side of the building.
- Our 2nd-4th grade classrooms will be unavailable for 5-6 weeks.
- During this time, 2nd graders will meet in the 56 classroom.
- 3rd-6th graders will attend worship with their families.

We know this is not ideal, but we are confident this short term change will be well worth it! When construction is complete, we’ll gain 3 new classrooms to help relieve crowded classrooms, welcome additional kids, and point them all to Jesus.

Walking in a manner worthy of Christ’s calling can be difficult at times, but Paul continues to urge us towards humility, gentleness, and patience in Ephesians 4:1-16.

Sunday, Sean preached on Ephesians 3:1-21, where we hear Paul writing to the church about the mystery proclaimed.

The mystery being that we are all now co-heirs in Christ. Paul also writes to encourage a prayer of spiritual strength as we attempt to comprehend Christ’s love for us.

We have been bought at a price.

Passages like Ephesians 2:11-22 remind us about what we have been saved from, and that we are reconciled in Christ by His blood.

If you have placed your faith in Jesus your next step is to testify to his saving work through baptism! The baptism class is required for baptism at Risen, or also just a great way to just learn more about baptism.

Join us this Sunday for our next Baptism Class.

Join us for a morning of challenge, intentional spiritual formation, and fellowship as we gather as a community of men to deepen our faith together.

We will start the morning with an optional workout at 5:30 AM. Then we’ll have breakfast for all men from 6:30-7:30 AM. We’ll share a meal, enjoy good conversation, and then dig into discussion regarding “digital discipleship”, including how Christian men engage with AI, digital devices, social media, and digital platforms.

Come for the workout, come for breakfast, or come for both—we’d just love to have you there.

Grace is greater than we think.

On Sunday, we got to hear Ryan preach on Ephesians 2:1-10 and learn more about why we should be continually shocked and awed with how much grace The LORD gives us.
