Joshua was old. He knew he was dying. And he had one thing left to say. He gathered all of Israel at Shechem — sacred ground — rehearsed everything God had done, laid the choice plainly before the people, and planted a flag: "As for me and my household — we will serve the Lord."
Then he set up a stone. Because he knew that the same people shouting their commitment that day were entirely capable of forgetting it tomorrow. Commitments without anchors tend to drift.

What happens when ordinary people simply say “yes” to following Jesus? This Sunday at Big House Church, we continue our series:

Jesus never invited people to stay the same. He said, “Follow Me.”
And when people truly follow Jesus:
• their lives change
• their priorities change
• their world changes
• and God begins using them to change the world around them
This Sunday Pastor Ty will be joined by Big House missionaries as they share powerful stories of evangelism, discipleship, serving others, and seeing lives transformed across the world through the Gospel.
Ephesians 5:8 says: “For at one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light.”
You don’t have to stay where you are. Jesus changes people. And changed people change people.

We are proud to recognize and honor Don Kennedy for his service to our country.

Don was recently selected to participate in an Honor Flight to Washington, DC—an incredible opportunity that recognizes and celebrates our nation’s veterans. During the trip, he visited memorials representing each branch of the military, as well as Arlington National Cemetery and the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. As a Vietnam veteran and retired Air Force Captain, his dedication and sacrifice are truly appreciated.

Please join us in congratulating Don on this well-deserved experience and thanking him for his service.

We are grateful for Don and for all veterans who have served and sacrificed for our freedom.
