OUR STORY
Pastor Sean Mooney dreamed of a church that held to a simple goal: to help people relate to God and each other in a life-giving way. From the beginning, Relate Community Church has focused on reaching "those far from God". The life-giving message of the Gospel, the passion, and joy of authentic relationships and the simple style of Relate Community Church will deepen your relationship with Jesus no matter where you are in your journey with him. We invite you to see for yourself how exciting church can be when the focus is simple and people are free to go after God with passion.

If you knew you only had one week left, what would change?

Would you spend more time with the people you love? Would you forgive someone you've been holding a grudge against? Would you finally share your faith with someone who's been on your heart?

The truth is, we don't know how much time we have.

But we DO know that every day we're given is an opportunity to live intentionally.

Jesus didn't tell us when He would return. He told us to be ready.

Don't wait until tomorrow to start living for what matters eternally.

We are such a blessed church to have you as our pastors. ♥️ You have such a heart for the lost and hurting. You give and expect nothing in return. You are both so authentic; what you see is what you get. Community means so much to you and serving others brings you such joy. 🥰 Thank you both, for being obedient to the Lord and using the gifts He has given you. The way you both share the Word, is so refreshing and easy to understand. Thank you for loving and pouring your heart into Relate. We are a better church because of y’all! 🤩

It's easy to get so caught up in our own circumstances that we forget there's a world around us that desperately needs Jesus.

We all have struggles. We all have distractions. We all have things competing for our attention.

But our calling doesn't disappear when life gets complicated.

Someone needs encouragement. Someone needs prayer. Someone needs to know they're seen, loved, and not alone.

And God can use YOU to meet that need.

We don't have to have everything figured out to make a difference in someone else's life.

What can we say about Pastor Jason… he is one of a kind. 😄 You won’t just see him on stage, but behind the scenes making sure the service goes smoothly. Not only does he have a heart for worship, but also for people. ♥️ It brings him joy leading others into the presence of the Lord and ministering to those who need encouragement. Oh, and if you need a good laugh, he’s your guy. 😉

Hands lifted. Friends catching up. Shoeboxes heading home to be filled with love.

We’re still thinking about Sunday’s reminder: make the time count. This week, that might look like praying for someone by name, starting a meaningful conversation, or choosing gifts for a child you may never meet.

Following Jesus was never meant to be something we squeeze into the spaces left over after everything else.

It's not just about Sunday mornings, a worship playlist, or checking a box.

It's about surrender.

When we keep one foot in the world and one foot in the Kingdom, we'll constantly feel the tension of trying to serve two masters.

God doesn't want just a portion of our lives. He wants our hearts.

And the beautiful thing? What we surrender to Him is nothing compared to what we find in Him.
