Are you a believer holding onto hidden sin? Dr. Richard Caldwell explains why concealing our transgressions leads to spiritual misery. The Holy Spirit dwells within every true Christian, and when we live contrary to our new nature, God lovingly uses that misery to draw us to repentance. Watch this clip from the Straight Truth Podcast with Dr. Josh Philpot and find the mercy waiting for you when you confess and forsake your sin.

Can you hide sin from God without harming your soul and the people around you? Living in secret sin as a Christian grieves the Holy Spirit, hinders sweet fellowship with the Father, and brings the loving, fatherly discipline of God. Pastor Richard Caldwell explains from Proverbs 28:13 and 1 John 1:9 why true confession requires agreeing with God about our sin and turning from it to walk in His mercy.
