Worldly happiness shatters when circumstances crumble. True joy is not found in positive thinking or shallow self help. The joy of the Lord anchors our souls in the sovereign goodness of God. We rejoice because we are forgiven, accepted, and perfectly cared for by our Creator. Nothing can steal the holy happiness that belongs to those in Christ.
