Beacon Light Bible Church

Beacon Light Bible Church Beacon Light Bible Church is a non-denominational ministry. Our goal is to raise up an army of believers who's on fire for the lost, hurting, and destitute

Beacon Light Bible Church believes that God's church has no walls, it is not based on religion and doesn't operate out of man's traditions. Here at Beacon Light bible Church, we value the Word of God, we value people, we value teamwork, and we value excellence. We operate according to God's plan based on Ephesians 1:22, (E.R.V), " God put everything under Christ's power and made Him head over eve

rything for the church." We know that Jesus is the head of this ministry so our foundation is based on Ephesians 4:15, "No, we will speak the truth with love. We will grow to be like Christ in every way. He is the head..." so that we may walk in and uphold this moral integrity of whom we are in YOU. We're a church that is built on the love of Jesus. A church all about family and community. Our Vision:
To bring in the lost, comfort the hurting and empower the saved. Our Philosophy:
our philosophy is to this,"If anyone speaks, He should do it as one speaking the very Words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ..."( 1 Peter 4:11). Pastor Jacquiline and her husband Sir Walter Johnson of 32 years, are so humbled and honored to be a part of what God is doing in these last days. So join us each Sunday via Facebook for our Word Explosion service, and our Journey through the Word Bible Study each Tuesday night at 7pm via conference call line. Good morning,
It's the weekend! Happy July 20, 2024.
Today, let's explore the paradoxical power of weakness; found in our verse for today.
2 Corinthians 12:10 says, “That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”

2 Corinthians 12:10
Remember those old-school night lights? The ones with cracks in the ceramic that let the light shine through in beautiful patterns? That's what Paul's talking about in 2 Corinthians 12:10.
We often try to plaster over our weaknesses, to present a perfect, uncracked facade. But Paul suggests something radical: what if our flaws are actually conduits for God's light? Even more, what if they're the very source of our true strength?
This isn't about celebrating failure or glorifying suffering. It's about recognizing that our imperfections don't disqualify us from God's use—they uniquely qualify us. It's in our brokenness that God's strength becomes most visible. Paradoxically, it's when we're at our weakest that we can be at our strongest.
Think about it: when are we most relatable to others? Often, it's when we're vulnerable about our struggles. When do we lean most heavily on God, allowing His power to work through us? Usually, in our moments of inadequacy.
So today, let's shift our perspective. Instead of hiding our weaknesses, let's hold them up to the light. Because in God's hands, our cracks don't make us worthless. They make us lanterns, imperfectly perfect channels for His light to shine through. And in that shining, we find a strength far beyond our own.

Ask Yourself:
How can I view my current struggles as opportunities for God's strength?
In what ways have I seen God's power shine through my weaknesses before?
Have a blessed day!

Let's 🙏:
Dear Lord,
As I step into today, I'm holding onto Paul's words about finding strength in weakness. It's kind of wild how You use our cracks to let Your light shine through. On days when I feel broken, help me remember that these are the moments You can use me most.
When I'm tempted to hide my flaws, remind me that You're the artist who creates beauty from brokenness. Help me to see the bigger picture. When I feel inadequate, show me how Your strength works best in weakness.
I'm asking for that paradoxical strength You give, the kind that doesn't make sense but always makes a difference. And if there's someone out there feeling weak today, help me share the hope You've given me.
Thanks for being the light in our imperfections, making us beautiful in unexpected ways.
In Jesus' name, Amen.

Goodmorning,
It's Saturday February 10, 2024.
As you step into this new day, remember the steadfast courage and faith shown by those who trusted in God's promises. Let their stories inspire you to face your own challenges with the same conviction, knowing that with God, all things are possible.
Deuteronomy 1:21says,
“See, the Lord your God has given you the land. Go up and take possession of it as the Lord, the God of your ancestors, told you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”
Today, Deuteronomy 1:21 invites us to look at our lives through a lens of faith and courage. It's like standing at the edge of a new chapter, with God Himself pointing towards the horizon and saying, "This is for you. Take that step."
This verse isn't just about ancient lands; it's about the personal frontiers we face every day. Maybe it's a new job, a difficult conversation, or a leap of faith in following a dream. God's message is clear: "Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged." Why? Because He's already there, in that future moment, ready to meet us with strength and guidance.
So, what's your 'promised land' today? It might seem out of reach, but remember, the God who parted seas and moved mountains is cheering you on. He's not asking for perfection, just willingness to trust Him on the journey.
Ask Yourself:
What's one step I can take today towards my 'promised land'?
How can remembering God's presence help me overcome fear?

Let's Pray:
Father,
This morning, Deuteronomy 1:21 inspires me to face my day with boldness. Guide me as I step into the promise of Your presence and provision. Dispel my fears, replace them with faith, and embolden my heart to embrace the plans You have for me.
In every challenge, let me feel Your guiding hand. Illuminate my path with Your wisdom, and steady my steps with Your love. May I move forward, confident in Your care and secure in the promise of Your unfailing support.
Thank You for being my rock and my redeemer, today and always.
Amen.
Have an incredible weekend.

It's Word Tuesday December 12, 2023.
Let's start this day by embracing the joyful message of Psalm 150:6, inviting us to fill every moment with praise and gratitude.
David tells us in our
Verse of the Day
Psalms 150:6,
“Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord.”
As we reflect on
Psalm 150:6 this isn't just a verse; it's a joyful invitation to celebrate the presence of God in our lives. It reminds us that every breath is a gift, an opportunity to express our thankfulness and joy. This verse encourages us to look beyond our circumstances and see the constant reasons we have to praise God.
Imagine if we approached each day as an opportunity to find joy in the ordinary and the extraordinary. Whether it's appreciating the beauty of a sunrise, the laughter of a child, or the comfort of a friend, each moment offers us a chance to acknowledge God's hand at work.
Even in challenging times, this verse calls us to maintain a spirit of praise. It's in these moments of praise amidst trials that our faith deepens, and our trust in God's plan strengthens. Let's challenge ourselves to keep a thankful heart, turning each obstacle into an opportunity to glorify God.
Today, let's live out Psalm 150:6. Let's fill our day with praise for the One who blesses us in countless ways. Whether through song, prayer, or acts of kindness, let every action we take be a reflection of our gratitude towards God.

Ask Yourself:
What small moments today can I be thankful for? How can I keep my heart thankful, even when I face challenges?

🙏 Prayer of the Day
Dear Heavenly Father,
As I welcome the light of this new day, my heart is filled with gratitude for Your constant presence and endless grace. In every moment, both bright and challenging, I find countless reasons to praise You.
God, infuse my daily life with an awareness of Your goodness. Help me to recognize the small blessings that often go unnoticed – a shared laugh, a moment of quiet, the beauty in nature and use them as opportunities to offer You praise.
In times of difficulty or doubt, grant me the strength to turn to You with a praising heart. Let my faith be expressed not only in words but in a deep-seated joy that withstands life's trials. May my trust in You shine through, becoming a beacon of hope and encouragement to others.
Lord, as I go about my day, let every action I take and every word I speak be a testament to Your love and a reflection of my gratitude. May my life be a living praise to You, celebrating Your mercy and love in all I do.
In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen!
Have an amazing God filled day!

06/17/2021

This is the day that the Lord has made. Happy June 17, 2021.
Let's talk about Victory in our lives this morning.
Are you tired of always being in the losing end. Or should I say, do you feel like you are always on the losing end.
Well as Children of God we never lose. Why? Because Jesus has given us the victory.
To overcome we need to look at the principles God has set in place for us. Join me as we look at the four principles for the next several days.
Exodus 17:6 says, "Behold, I will stand before you there on the rock in Horeb; and you shall strike the rock, and water will come out of it, that the people may drink.”
In this spiritual battle against the world, the devil, and the flesh, we can oftentimes be our own biggest enemies. In Exodus 17, God called the Israelites out of slavery in Egypt and led them through the wilderness toward Canaan.

Reading this story as Christians, we see Egypt represents the world, Pharaoh the devil, and Canaan the victorious life. There are four principles of victory found in this passage.

First, we must receive a gracious provision. In Exodus 17, the Israelites were in the barren land, dying of thirst. God instructed Moses to strike a rock with his rod, and when he did, water gushed from the rock.
This is a glorious illustration of our salvation. Jesus, the rock of ages, was smitten for us. And the blood and water that flowed from His side represent the Holy Spirit.

Second, we must realize God’s grand purpose. God’s plan for His people was not merely that they come out of Egypt and go into the wilderness of Sinai. God’s plan for His people was that they go into the land of Canaan. God brought them out that He might bring them in. Many of us have been brought out of the world, but we’ve never experienced the victory of Canaan. But God has brought us out to bring us in.
THINK ON THIS:
Where can you recognize God’s gracious provision in your life? How is Christ the ultimate provision for every Christian?
Where do you question God’s purpose in your life? How is Exodus 17 an encouragement in this area?
TODAY DO THIS:
Read Exodus 17 today and take time to recognize God’s provision and purpose in this account.

This is the day the Lord has made let's rejoices and be glad in it.
This is day 2 of raising wise children.
If want our children to be godly leaders we must be examples of the Lord.
PROVERBS 13:20 says, "He who walks with wise men will be wise, but the companion of fools will be destroyed.”
As parents, there are four things we must keep in mind in order to raise wise children.

1. First, we need to expound truth to our children; saturate them in the Proverbs; emblazon the Ten Commandments into their consciousness; teach them the Beatitudes, that they might learn these simple, basic truths.

2. Second, expose sin: children need to see the repercussions of sin to understand their weight. We must pull away the veil and show them the ugly truth of sin and its consequences.

3. We must also expel fools, as Proverbs 13:20 instructs. We cannot let our young, impressionable children hang around those who reject wisdom; we must be firm with who we allow them to be friends with.
4. Finally, we must express love—be gentle, transparent, and available. Words can hurt your children more than an open hand and a slap in the face. Love your children and delight in them.
LET US CONSIDER THIS:
Which of these principles stands out most to you? Why?
Where do you need to be honest about sin in your own life to point others toward wisdom?
DO THIS TODAY:
Take time to express love and delight to those close to you today, whether your own children or someone else.
A good leader, knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way.
May we always be the imitators of our Heavenly Father.

Praise God for this day🙌.
As we go into another Memorial Day, let's not forget those who fought for the freedoms that we now have, but also let us not forget the Lord who made it possible. Before we end the month of May, ponder this:
"Yet from the days of your fathers you have gone away from My ordinances and have not kept them. Return to Me, and I will return to you,” says the Lord of hosts. “But you said, ‘In what way shall we return?’”(Malachi 3:7)
At its core definition, stewardship is our relationship with money: how we obtain, save, invest, spend, and give our wealth. God is interested in this relationship, as is Satan—our enemy who would love to keep us in financial bo***ge.
If money increases our worries, or if we have plenty in the bank but we have no treasure in Heaven, we are in financial bo***ge. We all want to be free from the curse of debt, but freedom is only found when we are faithful in stewardship.
In order to obtain financial freedom, we must first personally return to God; He does not need our money, but He wants our fellowship. When we remember tithing is God’s way of revealing our priorities to ourselves, we will see tithing as a great blessing. It is our privilege to show God that He is first in our lives and everything else is second.
Why might Satan be interested in how we spend our money? How can we bring God glory in the way we spend our money?
Do this today:
Do something concrete regarding your giving this week to show that God is your first priority.

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!
GOD LOVES YOU; WHEN NO ONE ELSE DOES!!

BIBLE MEDITATION

“The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying: ‘Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love.’”

(Jeremiah 31:3)

DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT

Valentine’s Day is a day for lovers. Did you know that Jesus is the lover of your soul? He is. You, as part of the church, are His bride…His chosen one.

Our Lord loves each of us and all of us with infinite love, everlasting love, and indescribable love.

Are you without a valentine today? Take heart…His heart. He has set His affection on you. Jesus has purchased you, not with silver or gold as a bridegroom would have in Jesus’ day, but our Lord has purchased you with the silver of His tears and with the gold of His blood.

You are loved!

Every time you get a Valentine or see an advertisement for Valentine’s Day or hear someone say, “Happy Valentine’s Day,” remember that Jesus is the “Lover of your Soul.”
