Too good not to share. I have seen this first hand in my own family…

RAISING YOUR DEAD SONS AND DAUGHTERS

The story is told in 1 Kings 17:22 of God hearing the voice of Elijah the prophet as he cried out on behalf of the dead son of a widow lady. This was the very first instance in the Bible of anyone being raised from the dead and therefore is an invitation to receive revelation today!

The story says that Elijah came in and carried the dead boy in his arms up into THE UPPER ROOM where he was staying (1Kings 17:19-23). What did Elijah understand about that moment that the widow mother did not? Elijah knew that dead sons and daughters can only be raised from the dead from a place of prayer called THE UPPER ROOM! The widow mother had no power and authority to see her dead son raised from the dead because she failed to ascend into the upper room of prayer!

I want to encourage those reading this who have children that are not serving the Lord right now to take your children to the place of prayer called the upper room! Stop groaning over their lives and blaming yourself from a soulish realm and get into the place of prayer and ask God to raise them from the dead! Parents of prodigals- it’s time ascend to the Upper Room in this season.

Mercy House Global will be our spotlight ministry this year and they are bringing a Pop-Up-Shop with them! We also have individual seat for purchase.

We had such a sweet time together at our Super Saturday this past weekend. We talked about what it means to really follow Jesus and then made a make-and -take of what we felt like the Lord was calling us to follow Him into this season of our lives. Brandi brought a solid teaching about obedience in following Christ, we broke bread together, created together and talked face to face with one another. My spirit needed everything that took place this past Saturday. Thank you, Lord for seeet moments of time like these!
