This. Don’t be satisfied with attendance as your Student Ministry metric.
Youth leader, let me ask you a hard question:
Is your ministry producing attenders...or disciple-makers?
Years ago, research revealed that the most effective youth ministries shared seven common values. Not bigger budgets. Not better buildings. Not cooler games.
Seven Biblical values that consistently led to teenagers reaching their friends with the Gospel and growing deeper in their faith. 
✅ Intercessory Prayer fuels it.
✅ Relational Evangelism drives it.
✅ Leaders embrace and model it.
✅ A Disciple Multiplication Strategy guides it.
✅ A Bold Vision focuses it.
✅ Biblical Outcomes measure it.
✅ Ongoing Programs reflect it. 
Think about it. If your students aren’t praying for the lost, sharing the Gospel, making disciples, and living on mission, then no amount of programming can make up for what is missing.
The goal isn’t to build a bigger youth group. The goal is to build a movement of teenagers who know Jesus and are passionate about making Him known.
When youth leaders model evangelism, mobilize students, and multiply disciple-makers, everything changes. Students grow spiritually. Friends come to Christ. Mission becomes a lifestyle instead of an event. 
Don’t settle for keeping Christian teenagers busy. Raise up Gospel Advancing teenagers who will change their schools, teams, neighborhoods, and ultimately the world.
Because every teenager, everywhere, deserves to hear the Gospel from a friend.
