The King is Coming Again
Revelation 22:12 “And, Behold I come quickly, and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. “ There is a word I believe we need to carry in our hearts today.
The King is Coming again!
We live in a world filled with uncertainty. Things change. People change. Circumstances change. What looks secure today can be shaken tomorrow. But there is one thing that has not changed. Jesus is still King, and the King is coming again! Jesus promise his disciples, “I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also”. John 14:3. His first coming was in humility, He came as a baby in Bethlehem, He came as the suffering savior, He came to redeem us; but when he comes again, He is coming as the returning King.
Watch!
Because the King is coming, we must remain watchful. Jesus said, “ Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.” Matt. 24:42. Watchfulness means we refuse to become so distracted by this world that we forget the world to come. We work, we build, we plan, we live our lives; but we live with our hearts looking toward the King.
Ready!
The return of the king calls us to readiness. The wise virgins in matt. 25 were ready when the bridegroom came. They had oil in their lamps. We cannot wait until the king appears to prepare our hearts. Preparation is for today. Today is the day to forgive, today is the day to serve, today is the day to obey, today is the day to get our hearts right with God.
Hope!
And finally, the return of the King gives us hope. Jesus is not coming back to abandon his people. He is coming for His people. Rev. Tell us that there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain”. That is our hope. The King is coming, the king will reign, the king will make all things new. So whatever you are facing today, don’t lose heart. Lift up your head, keep serving, keep believing, keep praying, keep your lamp burning, because the King is coming again! Do not let the noise of earth make you forget the promise of heaven.

The King Still Loves Prodigals
Luke 15:11-24
The prodigal left the father– but never left the father’s heart: The prodigal son walked from the house, but he never left the father’s heart. The father continued watching and waiting for his return. This reminds us that God’s loves does not end when people wonder. Some may leave church, prayer, or godly living, but the king still remembers them. As citizens of another kingdom, we must carry the same heart of compassion and never stop believing for restoration.
Anchor thought: “Even in a far country, The father’s love still reaches”.
The prodigal came to himself before he came home: The famine in the far country awakened the prodigal to his true condition. What once looked appealing eventually left him empty and broken. Sometimes God allows discomfort to expose misplaced desires and bring people back to himself. Conviction is evidence that grace is still working. Before the prodigal returned home physically, he first awakened spiritually.
Anchor thought: “The famine became the doorway back to the father”.
The father ran toward the returning son: When the son returned the father met him with compassion instead of rejection. He restored his identity with a robe, His sonship with a ring, and his belonging with celebration. The story revels the heart of the King toward wandering people. Heaven rejoices when prodigals return. The kingdom s not only about preserving the faithful but also restoring the fallen.
Anchor thought: “The King still celebrates returning prodigals”.
