Happy First Sunday 🍁

🗣️Message: Come to Jesus
📖 Scripture: Luke 7:36-39, 44-50

“Therefore I tell you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven—for she loved much. But he who is forgiven little, loves little..Your faith has saved you; go in peace.”

“I'm so glad that one day, the Lord saw me, as I stood at his feet down, and I knelt down in humble submission to say, ‘Lord, save me, Lord, heal me, Lord, turn my life around, Lord, have mercy on me.’ It didn't matter what anybody else had to say because you don't have a hell to send me to or a heaven to put me in. I put my hand in God's hand, and I will walk with him every day of my life.“

🗣️Message: In Jesus Name
📖 Scripture: Mark 9:38

The greatest will be the greatest servant.

"What matters is not how spectacular it is. But what matters is that everything that I do is in his name. I want Jesus to get the glory out of all the work that I do. I don’t do it because it’s my job, but I do it because Jesus has called me to be a servant to whomever I come in contact with.Jesus said, if you do it in my name, if you do it with the right heart, if you do it so that I can get the glory, Jesus said, I got a reward for you too”

-Rev. Mungin

Happy First Sunday ☀️

🗣️Message: In Jesus Name
📖 Scripture: John 14:9-14

When we ask In Jesus' Name, we rely on the Holy Spirit to do the work.

“But understand, saying “in Jesus' name”, is not some magic trick to just make things work. But as you come before God, say “God, I know I can't do it, so I'm asking you to do it by your spirit. I want to be in accordance with your will, and so God, if my prayer is not what it should be, God get me in alignment with your will. So that I can pray in accordance with your will, because when I pray, in accordance with your will it’s always so that you can get the maximum glory.”

Thank you! ❤️

Yesterday we celebrated Rev. Melvin J. Mungin’s 13th Pastoral Anniversary.

Thank you to our families, friends, and everyone who prayed, served, attended, gave, and showed such overwhelming love and support. Your encouragement reminds us that ministry is never done alone, but together as the body of Christ.

“Be shepherds of God‘s flock that is under your care, watching over them – not because you must, but because you were willing” 1 Peter 5:2
