Keep going, church family 📖✨

This week’s readings take us through the honesty of Ecclesiastes, the beauty of Song of Solomon, the wisdom and warnings of 1 Kings, and the worship found in Psalms. Different books, different voices — but all pointing us back to God’s faithfulness.

Some chapters may encourage you, some may challenge you, and some may leave you with questions. That’s part of the journey. Don’t lose momentum now. Even a few verses a day can shape your heart in powerful ways.

Stay consistent. Stay curious. Stay in the Word. 🙏

There are seasons when life feels dim — when clarity disappears, hope feels distant, and we can’t see what’s ahead. David wrote these words after years of hardship, danger, failure, and waiting. Yet through it all, he discovered something powerful: God did not always remove the darkness immediately, but He was always a light within it.

A lamp does not illuminate the entire road at once. It gives enough light for the next step. That is often how God leads us too — faithfully, patiently, one step at a time.

When fear clouds our hearts or uncertainty surrounds us, we can remember that the Lord Himself is our lamp. His presence brings peace to anxious minds, direction to wandering hearts, and hope to weary souls.

Whatever darkness you may be facing today, God has not left you in it alone. He still lights the way.

Developing the Competency of Prayerful Intimacy 🙏🔥

This week we were reminded that prayer is not meant to be transactional — it is an invitation into deep intimacy with God ❤️

Prayerful intimacy:
✨ Requires solitude before God
🙇 Begins with humility — “Who am I, O Lord God?”
It is developed through every season of life:
• gratitude 🙌
• repentance 💔
• lament 😢
• deliverance 🛡️
• guidance 🧭

🎶 Leads us into worship & produces boldness to approach the throne of grace

David’s prayers were honest, worshipful, and rooted in God’s promises. Through every high and low, he learned to sit before the Lord and trust Him fully 📖

Questions to reflect on this week:
Am I willing to develop the competency of prayerful intimacy?
Are my prayers focused on God’s glory or my own agenda?
Am I willing to intentionally spend time before the throne of God each day? ⏰🙏

“Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace…” — Hebrews 4:16 ✝️

Church family — don’t lose momentum! 🙏📖

This week we begin reading through 1 Kings in our Bible reading plan, and it’s such a powerful reminder that God remains faithful through every generation! As we read about Solomon, the building of the temple, and the lives of Israel’s kings, let’s ask the Lord to give us wisdom, obedience, and hearts that stay devoted to Him!

Even if you’ve fallen behind, this is a great week to jump back in! One day at a time still moves us forward together. Let’s keep growing in God’s Word as a church family! ❤️

This Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to others.

“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” — John 15:13

As we remember their sacrifice, we pray for the families who carry their memory each day, and ask God to continue to bring peace, comfort, and unity to our nation.

We remember. We honor. We give thanks.

It's Favorite Verse Friday, Church family! 📖❤️

Everyone has a story of God’s faithfulness.

Psalm 107 reminds us that redemption is not something we keep quiet about. God rescues, restores, forgives, carries, and brings hope to weary hearts — and those who have experienced His grace are invited to tell the story.

You don’t need a perfect past or a dramatic testimony to proclaim God’s goodness. Sometimes the greatest testimony is simply this:
“God brought me through.”

If the Lord has redeemed you, encouraged you, forgiven you, or sustained you, take a moment today to thank Him — and don’t be afraid to share His faithfulness with someone else.

Let the redeemed of the Lord proclaim it!
