Or maybe you read but don’t know how it applies to you today? This class is here to help! You will learn a Bible study method that equips you to dissect, categorize, and apply Scripture - all you need is a Bible and a notebook!

Kailey Walkup will be leading this class from 10:00 to 11:00 AM on Mondays, starting September 14th and finishing November 2nd (8 Weeks). It is available to men and women, teens and adults. You can register at the link below.

Every elite athlete and every winning coach knows something important: fundamentals matter.

The best athletes in the world never graduate from the fundamentals. They practice them, sharpen them, and return to them over and over again because they know that getting the fundamentals right makes everything else stronger.

The same is true of the Christian life.

You're invited to a new Bible class that Pastor Greg will teach this fall, called Fundamentals of the Christian Life. Sometimes we assume that if someone has been around church for a while, they must understand the basics of following Jesus. But that isn’t always true. Someone can sit in church for years and still have questions like:

What exactly has Jesus done for me?
Why do we pray—and how do I pray?
Why does the church matter?
How does real change happen in the Christian life?
How do I actually read and understand the Bible?
What does “discipleship” really mean?

The goal of this class is to spend seven weeks digging into some of the scriptural fundamentals that shape a healthy, growing Christian life.

Tuesday evenings at 6:30 PM

The first Week of Class is Tuesday, Sept 8 or Friday Sept 11.

Congratulations to the Edwards family on the arrival of their new baby! Our church family is organizing a meal train so they can rest, recover, and soak up these first precious weeks at home. Welcome home, Providence! What a fantastic first Sunday back in our building! Battle Buddies is coming to Lighthouse Kids at Providence Church! Join us for three exciting weeks of games, Bible teaching, challenges, and learning how to follow Jesus together, starting Sunday, August 30th from 5:00–7:00 PM. Kids ages K4 through 5th grade will train in Prayer, God’s Word, and Teamwork so they’re ready for the fight. Snacks will be provided, and we encourage everyone to bring a friend! Let’s train for battle and let our light shine at 6000 Mariner Blvd, Spring Hill, FL 34609.

Good things are happening!

Don’t forget—this Sunday, August 30, our services move back to our Main Campus at 6000 Mariner Blvd. Service times will remain at 9:15am and 11:00am.

As we prepare for an awesome Sunday together, here are a few “need to know” items:

1. Nursery & Children’s Check-In
Nursery and Children’s Check-In will be inside. Enter through the front glass doors, turn to the right, and you’ll see Michelle (Children), Vanessa (Nursery), and their amazing teams ready to welcome you!

2. Coffee & Treats
Coffee and treats will be available in the kitchen/fellowship area. There are side entrances, so just follow the signs. And be sure to stop by for some extra-special treats as we celebrate our move back!

3. Please Drive Carefully
Please drive slowly and carefully in the parking lot. We have many children and young people who will be getting in and out of cars and walking through the parking areas. Let’s all take a little extra care to keep everyone safe.

4. Parents—Please Keep Track of Your Children
Before and after services, please make sure you know where your children are. The fenced side yard is a great place for kids to hang out and play before and after worship.

5. Invite Someone!
Yes, we expect full services—but we will have extra seats at both 9:15 and 11:00! Invite a friend, neighbor, co-worker, or family member to join us. What a great Sunday to introduce someone to Providence!

This fall at Providence, we're going Back to the Gospel. But going back doesn't mean going backward.

The gospel isn't simply the message we believe when we first become Christians and then move on to the "deeper" things. The gospel is the deep thing. It is the good news we never outgrow. Over eight weeks, we'll rediscover how the grace of Jesus speaks to the deepest places of our lives—our identity, our struggles, our hidden idols, our relationships, our failures, and our hopes. We'll be challenged to recognize the ways our hearts drift from grace and invited again to experience the freedom and joy of resting in what Christ has done for us.

Because sometimes the greatest need of a Christian isn't something new.
It's to be renewed by the good news we've known all along.
