Mother Mary Tea Party was held at St. Frances Cabrini Parish, May 25, 2025. Everone had a wonderful time, Our guest speaker was Maria Pendleton, co-host of the Sprity FM morning show, Centerpieces were put togethr by Leo and Denise Gasiorowski and decorated by the CCW crafters. We had a violinist play for us as we drank our tea.

On November 4th Our Council held it 1st Music Bingo. Thank you for everyone who came out and supported us and also to everyone who came and help, We had 121 people in attendance and it was a great success. Thank you also to the SFC Knights of Columbus who ran the food concession.

The SFC Council of Catholic Women Crafters are currently accepting gently used items for their annual Bazaar, which will be held in Xavier Hall on Saturday, November 8 from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and Sunday, November 9 from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. Accepted items include children's toys, books, and Christmas-themed goods; please note that clothing will not be accepted. Donations may be dropped off on Thursdays between 9:00 am and noon in Xavier Hall. For additional information, please contact Mary McComb at 352-796-0550. We appreciate your generosity and continued support.

Council of Catholic Women News
The first General Meeting for 2025 is Wednesday, September 3rd following the daily Mass at 9:15 am in the Cabrini Event Center (formerly Xavier Hall). Membership dues will be collected (see bulletin for coupon). A light breakfast will be served.
Information about this year’s CCW plans will be provided. Individuals interested in joining are invited to attend. There will be a “Works of Mercy” presentation given by Gail Metcalf.
The Council of Catholic Women’s goal is to unite St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Parish’s women and support religious, educational, charitable, and social initiatives for both the council and parish.
Throughout the year, the CCW will host a variety of gatherings, service projects, and faith enrichment opportunities. From organizing charitable drives to supporting parish events and fostering fellowship among women of all ages, the council remains dedicated to making a positive impact. Whether you are seeking spiritual growth, meaningful friendships, or ways to serve the community, there is a place for you in the CCW. Come join us as we embark on another year filled with purpose, compassion, and shared faith.

On Saturday, May 24th, the St. Frances Cabrini Council of Catholic Women hosted their Mother Mary Tea Party. The event was attended by over 100 women, including mothers and daughters, who enjoyed a wonderful time. We extend our gratitude to all attendees for contributing to the success of this event. Special thanks go to Fr. Dennis Kaelin for delivering an inspiring talk about our Blessed Mother.
