what a sweet opportunity to step back and look at the goodness of a God who encourages us to REST. our third rest retreat was wonderful and we were so thankful for a day to slow down with each one of you.

For those of you who haven’t gotten to attend our annual Rest Retreat, this is created BY young adults FOR young adults, and is a day-long retreat designed to be a deep dive into the Biblical practice of Sabbath. America as a whole is so bad at resting, and our generation is no exception. We are continually busy and have the impulse to go go go... from one thing to the next. When we do eventually slow down, we rarely actually rest. Instead, we check out, which also isn’t healthy. So, what is REAL Sabbath? How do we truly rest?

[Is this for me?]
If you’re a young adult who wants to spend a day with Jesus, this retreat is for you. If you see a need to pause and look to the Father, this retreat is for you. If you want to learn more about Sabbath and hearing God’s voice, this retreat is for you. If you’re a new Jesus-follower, or an old Jesus-follower, and you’re messily trying to figure out all the things...welcome to the club. 🙂 This retreat is for you.

Merry Christmas!

We’ll be celebrating on Monday, December 15 at 6pm at the Haven in Spring Grove. Please bring an appetizer or drink to share if you can. We’ll be having a light dinner and general sweets throughout the night.

Other things to expect:
- Group gingerbread house competition (supplies provided)
- Games
- Maybe Karaoke?
- A fire!!!!
- Christmas music (duhhh)
- Jolly hearts

As always, bring your friends along! We’d love to enjoy this season with everyone.

Our Service Project is happening THIS Saturday, September 13. We’re going to Hanover Hall Nursing Home to bless the residents with a hymn sing! We’ll meet in the parking lot at 2:45 so that we can walk in together and set up in the community room. After the hymn sing, all are welcome for dinner and games at Katie’s parent’s house in Spring Grove. Please message her to RSVP and for the address. Broadway-level-skill is NOT required for this event… come join us regardless of your singing talent!

Hey folks! As we enter into the last month of summer (😵‍💫), we invite you to a day of rest next Saturday, August 16. It will be an all day retreat on Lake Meade. The goal is to relax, connect, rejuvenate, and recenter on God before the summer ends.
