The youth of connection church are busy at work at First church! Painting, weeding, raking, packing food for their homeless friends in the area, cleaning the gym in the attuc, hauling and just overall beautifying things! Such a blessing to have them here! You are welcome to join them in the sanctuary round 4 o'clock as they will wing and then surround our church in prayer!

Also sorry to the neighbors...The kids have been enjoying ringing the bell and we are here for it! Thanks Pastor Carrie Brooks and Connection! You guys are Kingdom Builders!

We are so grateful and excited to welcome more than 30 students and leaders from Connection Church's Local Youth Missions Team on Friday, July 24, from 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

Throughout the day, these amazing young people will be serving at First Church by painting our main hallways, cleaning, organizing, and beautifying our facility so we can continue to welcome our members, guests, and neighbors with excellence and hospitality.

But their ministry doesn't end there! After serving at First Church, they'll spend the evening packing meals and hygiene kits that will be distributed through a local homeless outreach. What a beautiful picture of serving Christ both inside and outside the walls of the church.

The photo below was recently sent by their youth pastor, Carrie Maurio. During a youth prayer gathering, each small group was assigned a specific area of our church to pray over. Carrie shared that this group was praying, "That the Lord would use the work they do to bring people into overflowing...that the Lord would bless your church and ministry and many would come to know Jesus through First Church." This was just one of several groups faithfully lifting our church and community before the Lord.

If you're at the church on Friday, be sure to give these students a warm First Church welcome and thank them for investing their time, energy, and hearts into our ministry. We're praying that God blesses them as they bless us!

🌾 You're Invited! Mural Dedication This Sunday! 🎨

This Sunday, we'll dedicate our new mural in the Project Outreach Food Pantry room, and we'd love for you to celebrate with us!

The mural depicts the beauty of the Pennsylvania landscape through the changing seasons and is inspired by the words of the beloved hymn, "Great Is Thy Faithfulness." It was created to bring beauty, hope, and encouragement to every person who walks through our doors, reminding us all that "all I have needed Thy hand hath provided."

We'll be dedicating the mural to the glory of God, and then... celebrating with cake! 🍰

If you're one of our amazing Project Outreach pantry patron or volunteers or a beloved community member, we would especially love to have you there as we celebrate this shared ministry together. This space exists because of your faithful service to our neighbors.

🕥 Worship begins at 10:30 a.m. this Sunday, June 28th.
🎉 The mural dedication will take place as our benediction, around 11:30 a.m., followed by cake and fellowship.
