Happy Birthday to Richard Britz, our Minister of Maintenance (or “MoM” for short — a title we have way too much fun with).

He’s the guy behind the scenes keeping so much of Home Church working the way it should — from air conditioners and septic systems to plumbing, the back yard, repairs, improvements, and about a thousand little things most of us never even know needed attention. If it leaks, breaks, stops cooling, quits draining, needs mowing, needs fixing or improving, or just starts making a noise it definitely wasn’t making yesterday… Richard probably already knows about it.

And he's quick to give all the credit and praise to his incredible team of volunteers— who regularly give their time, knowledge, skills, and so much more of themselves to help him out with making sure everything on our campus is running smoothly.

We’re thankful for the way Richard serves, leads, solves problems, and helps make sure our facility is more than just a building — it feels like HOME!

Help us make a BIG deal out of our MoM and wish Richard a very happy birthday today!

Sacred Pauses - Women's Group

Work, family, schedules, responsibilities—it all adds up. And before long, finding time to slow down, open God’s Word, and connect with other women can feel almost impossible.

That’s exactly why Sacred Pauses exists!
Starting September 14, this online women’s group will meet every other Monday at 8PM for just one hour. It’s a chance to step out of the noise for a little while, spend time in Scripture, encourage one another, and create some intentional space for God in the middle of a busy season.

And because it’s online, you don’t have to add another commute, another night away from home, or another complicated thing to your calendar. You don’t have to wait until life slows down to grow in your faith!

Reading the Bible is a huge part of the Christian life. It is literally FROM God and FOR us. It is full of amazing encouragement, and teaching and instruction and beauty.
It's also got some pretty weird stuff, strange stories and lots of parts that just don't seem to apply to our lives. How SHOULD we read the Bible - especially the parts that don't seem to have anything to do with our lives now? What if there were a way to read the Bible to find out what God is really trying to say to YOU - about YOUR life?
