For those who may not know, we have an amazing group of people who meet Thursday mornings for such a wonderful and important ministry. Our “Friday Food Bag” group meets Thursday mornings and puts together food bags for children at Spotsylvania Elementary School. These bags are shopped for, packed, prayed over, and dropped off at the school that they may be sent home Friday with students.

They also write cards and pray for people each week. People who may be ill, celebrating a milestone, or just need a little encouragement. This ministry has grown so much over the years, and we are thankful for each and every person who has ever been involved.
