What a wonderful day at Calvary Baptist Church!

Today we had the privilege of recognizing all of our Vacation Bible School children, parents, and the many workers who invested their time and energy to make VBS such a tremendous success. We were blessed with 184 in attendance during the morning service, including over 40 children in Junior Church.

God truly blessed our VBS this year with a high attendance of 82 children on Thursday night! It was also a joy to see what was probably our largest children’s choir ever as the kids shared what they learned throughout the week.

A special thank you to Bro. Nichols for filling in today while Pastor Spradlin recovers from illness. We are praying for Pastor’s quick recovery. Camden also did an outstanding job singing with his mother—what a blessing to our church family!

We are so thankful for every volunteer, teacher, helper, parent, and child who made this week possible. God is so good, and it is exciting to see Him working in the lives of so many young people.

To God be the glory for a great week of VBS!

Sometimes the greatest act of faith is not waiting on God to move... it's preparing as if He already has.

In 2 Kings 3, God gave a strange command to an army dying of thirst:

"Make this valley full of ditches."

There was no rain.
There were no clouds.
There was no sign that help was coming.

Yet God told them to dig.

This Sunday, we'll learn a powerful truth:

God often sends the blessing after He sees the preparation.

What an exciting Night 3 of VBS!

We had 76 children join us last night for another incredible evening at Knights of the King VBS!

The castle was buzzing with excitement as the children enjoyed games, prizes, Bible lessons, and a thrilling battle that ended with the dragon being defeated! 🐉⚔️ More importantly, the kids heard truths from God's Word and learned more about serving the King of Kings.
