"Sow to yourselves in righteousness reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the
LORD, till he come and rain
righteousness upon you."
HOSEA 10:12 📖

Along with Bible study and rereading this verse I believe I understand it now. I also believe it is important for each person to take time to look at where they are in their relationship with God and seek to strengthen and or renew their faith!

"Fallow ground" refers to land (*likened to our "hearts") which is being prepared for planting (*hearts readying to pursue a relationship with God). First the ground is broken up and weeds removed (*the loosening of a hardened heart) the ground is then left to rest, recover and replenish its nutrients (* to breathe in goodness and open one's heart). Then the ground is ready for planting of seeds (*the heart is ready to receive the "good seed" which is God’s Word 📖). Then God's righteous "rain" will lead to a fruitful bounty (*a hearts spiritual growth and personal relationship with God). I pray this for all.🙏🏼
