Youth Ministry Update
Our Youth Choir is continuing to grow under the leadership of Rev. Evan Jones and our new musician,
Deacon John Sharpe.
Sister Laurie Strother leads Children’s Church on Sundays, with volunteers willing to teach each week.
Laurie is also our Youth Council President, and she keeps the youth busy with trips and church activities
to reward them for coming to church and Children’s Church.
Youth Highlights
Some youth are entering Kindergarten, Middle School, and High School.
They play football, softball, and soccer, and participate in ROTC.
Graduation Spotlight
We have one graduate this year: Ja`Rell Dayshaun Harris.
Our college students continue to strive. Keyon Smith has received his Welding Certificate and is
beginning more classes. Jaheim Talley started his Detailing business last Year,(TJ’s Auto Detailing LLC),
along with working his full time job. Both are Trustees at the church.
