The Blessing of the Animals & Community Pet Fair is a fun and welcoming afternoon where you can:

• bring your pet for a special blessing
• meet fellow animal lovers
• enjoy the Community Pet Fair
• connect with local animal organizations and pet-friendly groups

Whether your pet barks, meows, chirps, trots, or has to attend by photo, you’re welcome here. Because let’s be honest — life is better with animals. ❤️

🐾 Tanner and Jenni do a lot more than greet people at church.

Through the St. Francis Pet Ministry, our trained therapy dog teams visit nursing homes, assisted living communities, schools, homebound neighbors, and others who could use a little comfort and companionship.

Sometimes a wagging tail, a soft head to pet, and a friendly face can make a very big difference.

You can meet Tanner and Jenni — and learn more about the St. Francis Pet Ministry — at our Blessing of the Animals & Community Pet Fair on October 4 from 1–4 PM.

🐾 One of the best parts of the day? The Community Pet Fair!

We’re excited to welcome local animal rescues, community groups, and pet-centered organizations who help care for animals and the people who love them, plus some wildlife organizations.

You’ll have a chance to meet some of the people working every day to protect animals, help pets find homes, promote responsible pet care, and support the special bond between animals and their humans.

The SPCA of Fredericksburg, Compassion Animal Rescue, and Squishy Face Crew Virginia will be among those with pets to adopt.

We’ll be introducing more of our participating groups right here over the next couple of weeks!

So come say hello, meet some amazing folks, and maybe discover a new favorite organization.
