We're not perfect, and don't pretend to be. We fall and try to get back up, like anyone else. So if you're not perfect either, then this might just be a good place for you to hang out!

2. We're seeking to know more about Jesus. We don't do that by studying what He did and trying to imitate it. We do it by getting to know Him. Jesus is not dead... He's alive! And He wants to be as REAL in your lif

e as your family and friends... He's a real person who wants a real relationship with you and me!

3. We like to have fun! A HUGE part of following Jesus is being who God created you to be. And God created us to be fun, to laugh, to enjoy one another's company! That's why every time we get together we have a blast!

Today is the start of the season of Lent, the 40 days (minus Sundays) leading up to Easter Sunday when we prepare ourselves for the death and resurrection of Jesus the Christ. For youth group tonight we are going to join the whole church congregation for an Ash Wednesday service, we will sing, hear a sermon, and receive ashes on our foreheads. Meet in the sanctuary instead of the gym at 6:30, we will have a youth group section on the far side.
If you have any questions about Ash Wednesday or Lent talk to Pastor Justine, she loves talking about church holidays/traditions!
