Chagdud Gonpa Padma Ling Spokane The Padma Ling is a Chagdud Gonpa meditation center in Spokane, WA. She also received teachings on the Great Perfection from Chagdud Rinpoche.

Lama Yeshe Zangmo, known as Lama Inge (Inge Sandvoss) was born in Germany in 1939 and moved to the United States in 1958. In December 1980, she moved to Ashland, Oregon and stayed at Gyatrul Rinpoche’s center and received Vajrakilaya empowerment and the complete teachings on generating the deity. From Chagdud Rinpoche, Inge received Red Tara and T’hroma empowerments as well as empowerments for ot

her deities practiced by Chagdud Gonpa. As resident lama of Padma Ling in Spokane, WA, Lama Inge Zangmo maintains a daily practice schedule, and offers teachings twice a week. She also travels and teaches at various dharma centers in the United States and has taught in Germany and Nepal.

Happy Saga Dawa! This month is very special and marks the anniversary of the Buddha Shakymuni's life, passing, and enlightenment. On the full moon day (June 3rd), with some cooperation with the weather, we are hoping to make a butter lamp offering at the stupa in Tum Tum. On Saturday, May 27th we will also be a Tibetan Tara tsog in Spokane at 10am.

Progress continues on our shrine room where we are now spotting and taping the drywall! Soon hopefully we will be able to hang up the amazing Guru Rinpoche Thanka that we received from Lama Pema Dorje Rinpoche.

Our construction work continues on the new shrine room. Special thanks to Bill McMillan, Ryan Kee, and Jim McMillan who donated their time to help put up the drywall in the shrine room.

This Month at the Padma Ling will focus on the Five Wisdom and their personification as the Five Dhyani Buddhas.

We are happy to announce that our move went succesfully and we were able to get all of our Dharma stuff out to the new property in Tum Tum! We still have a lot of work to do setting things up but we were able to get everything out of storage.

Saturdays in September will focus on the Six Paramitas which consist of: Generosity, Discipline, Patience, Perserverence, Concentration, and Wisdom.
