New Community

New Community All are welcome. Whether you have a strong faith or no faith, or perhaps a million questions about faith, you are welcome. We have weekly Sunday service at 10am.

We encourage people of all different backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives to come and seek Christ together. This church practices union: has no creed, seeks to make religion as intelligent as science, as appealing as art, as vital as the day's work, as intimate as home, as inspiring as love. Service is typically an hour and a half long. Kids Community is available during both services for children infants through 6th grade.

Dear New Community,

As we watch the fires and check our updates to see how they are impacting Spokane, many of us find ourselves at a loss to know what to do. 

We wait together, we pray, and we connect.

We are currently planning on meeting tomorrow in our new space for a shorter service, one that will give us a chance to gather, to engage what is happening, and to pray together. 

This week is Clipboard Sunday, so Kids Comm classes will be available for babies-prekk and clipboards will be provided for elementary kids to use during service in the sanctuary.

Months ago the community discerned together the need to relocate. We sensed we were being invited to move, without yet knowing a location; and yet we took the step of faith to follow that leading. We are thrilled to announce that God has provided a new location and space for us to worship! We can't wait to see you for our first official service on June 7th at 10am here at 3928 N Howard St, Spokane, WA 99205.

Exciting things are happening for New Community! This Sunday, April 26, we will spend time remembering, celebrating and reflecting on our time in this space on 3rd and Howard, and the 9+ years we have worshipped as a community in this space. While we truly believe we, the people, are the church of God, we recognize that there is deep significance to places too. God has sustained us in beautiful ways during that time, and we want to reflect and remember. Come join us!
