Come be a part of what God is doing! Welcome to South Hill Bible Church! We believe that there are four things that make us unique and distinct as a church. First we are a Bible church. We stand uncompromisingly for the unchanging, inspired Word of God. Second, we are non-denominational church. We are governed by Elders from amongst the congregation who lead as the Holy Spirit directs. Third, we a

re an evangelical church. We are firmly grounded in the essentials of historic Christian doctrine. Moreover, we are evangelistic and missionary in spirit, endeavoring to propagate the truth of God and practice it. Finally, we are a community church. It is our strong desire to have an active ministry in and to our community and city.

Warning to all who are associated with South Hill Bible Church. There are phishing emails going out purporting to be from Pastor John. They are NOT from him! Do not respond to those emails that are requesting money from you or for you to call him about a "confidential matter". Again, these are bad actors trying to steal your money. They are NOT from SHBC. If you are already on our email list, we have sent several emails this afternoon warning of this. I'll post the content of that email warning in the first comment below.
