This week is VBS at Faith! We are so excited for the chance to learn more about the value of created life!

Register your children online who are within the age group for a fun time of singing, snacks, games and learning as we journey to the outback to learn lessons about God creating life!

Also, parents are invited to stay and talk with our Assistant Pastor and his wife while your kids are enjoying the program!

Yesterday was Palm Sunday and it is when we remember and celebrate the day that Jesus was worshipped and honored by many people. On this day, as Jesus rode a donkey around Jerusalem, the crowd laid their garments on the street and waved the palm branches. Singing and praising, "Hosanna to the Son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest." 🌿

How blessed and happy the people that were present that day because they had seen Jesus Christ's triumphal entry and they worshipped Him as King! How are you praising God in your life today? Do you worship Him in church and in your heart as you read His Word every day? 🙏🏻

Hey Kids! We will be taking a short pause from our "The Christian Walk" Series because we will be focusing on a specific time in Jesus' life here on earth.

As we approach the Holy Week and prepare our hearts for the Resurrection Sunday, it may be easy to get caught up in the excitement of egg hunts and chocolate bunnies, but may you find real hope in Jesus Christ. 🙏🏻📖

The Bible helps us recognize the truth from lies. When we accept what God says about Jesus (that He is the only way to God) and about us (that we are loved and forgiven despite our sin and unworthiness) then we will be able to walk in truth instead of doubt or shame. 🙏📖

Truth is not defined by personal preference or conviction: it is defined by the Holy Word of God. ”Walk in Truth” will teach us that ultimate truth is not determined through human intelligence. Rather, it is created by our righteous, omniscient God. We can trust that aligning our lives to the incredible truth of the Bible will increase our faith and help us identify sinful lies.

We can gain assurance from God’s word that we can live according to truth and defend ourselves from lies.🙏📖

Let’s see what God's Word says we should do to gain and walk in wisdom.

We should first ask God for wisdom as He alone can grant it to us.. (James 1:5)

Asking God for wisdom isn’t necessarily hard, but living a humble life that reflects the wisdom we asked for requires complete reliance on God to help us with our words and actions.(Proverbs 11:2)

Fearing the Lord, obeying His word, and knowing His word also reflect a life that walks in wisdom. We can’t be selfish or self-seeking if want to walk in wisdom. We must consider the results of our decisions and the impact they have on our own lives, the lives of others, and what pleases Jesus Christ.

God will help us choose wisdom over sin if we only ask it of Him. No one can perfectly walk in wisdom, but because Jesus perfectly walked in wisdom, we can trust that obeying God will increase our wisdom. 🙏📖

God thinks that worldly, selfish wisdom is foolish.

1 Corinthians 3:18-20

"Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.

For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.

And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain." 🙏📖
