Praised be Jesus Christ, Now and Forever! I am pleased to announce that at St. Francis Xavier and St. Patrick Parishes this Sunday May 10th - Mother's Day, we will be able to provide private Adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament, Confessions, and a special "Drive-Thru Blessing" for Mothers. My schedule will be as follows:

11am - Confession and Adoration begins at St. Francis Xavier (Adoration continues to 4pm at SFX)
1pm - Mother's Day Blessings - Parking lot drive-thru** - St. Francis Xavier
3pm - Adoration concludes - St. Patrick
3pm - Mother's Day Blessings - Parking lot drive-thru ** - St. Patrick
4pm - Adoration concludes - St. Francis Xavier
Please note Bishop has encouraged us to open our churches for people to come and pray (we've scheduled things for security and safety). During the hours of Adoration the doors of the Church will be opened, and the Lord in the Blessed Sacrament waiting for anyone who is already out on āessentialā business and would like to make a visit. Bishop of course asks us to do all of this on the condition that safety measures and social distancing are strictly observed. This includes staying 6 feet away from other parishioners, avoiding the unnecessary touching of any surfaces, and washing of hands. The wearing of gloves or masks when inside the church are not required, but you are welcome to do so. Please be as considerate as possible to help prevent the spread of germs.
**Drive-thru blessings: At the designated time form a line in your cars in the parking lot and I will, one by one, offer a blessing to Moms. Just drive up to me, roll your windows down and I will offer the blessing.
If you are not able to attend, please remember that I am daily praying for you and your loved ones and especially this Sunday praying for all Mothers. Happy Mother's Day!
In Mary's Immaculate Heart,
Fr. David B Gaines
