Awana Clubs at New Hope Bible Church Our prayer is that all children and youth throughout the world will come to know, love and serve the Lord Jesus Christ.

The word AWANA stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed and is taken from 2 Timothy 2:15 - "Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth." WHEN: Our club meets on Tuesdays from 6:30 PM to 8:15 PM during the school year. We begin the 2nd Tuesday of September and conclude in May. WHO: Children are grouped in ag

e appropriate club levels to provide effective lessons and resources:
>Cubbies (Ages 3 &4)
>Sparks (K-2nd Grade)
>T&T (3rd-6th Grade)

Here are the trophy winners for our 2026 Grand Prix last week:

Actually, ALL the cars entered were Design winners...the judges had a very difficult time choosing the top three!! Great job, everyone!!

This coming week, April 28, is "AWANA STORE NIGHT!" Come and redeem your hard-earned points for prizes in the Store! Then, next week, will be "STEP-UP NIGHT!" Many of our clubbers will be moving up to the next club! Don't miss it!!

Happy Easter - Resurrection Day! Just a reminder that next week is Spring Break so our next Awana meeting is Tuesday, April 14, which will be "Double Points Night!" Car kits went on sale last Awana night for our Grand Prix which is coming to New Hope Bible Church on Saturday, April 18! Parental help may be needed to help clubbers build their cars if they haven't been purchased yet--$5 per kit. The Race begins at 1:00 PM on the 18th! Kits will be available at the check-in desk on the 14th.

THREE THINGS:
1. Next Tuesday in Awana is "Balloon Night!" So, be sure to "pop in" for a fun evening!
2. Adopt-a-Club comes to an end for this year. All donations should be turned in this Tuesday; we will total up the amount that clubbers (and parents!) have donated and send those gifts to Awana International for the Awana Clubs in Papua New Guinea! Thank you everyone for participating and making a difference in the lives of children and their families in PNG!
3. The Awana Grand Prix is coming on Saturday, April 18, at New Hope Bible Church! Car kits will be available starting this Tuesday from the Awana secretaries; cost is $5 per kit. Start designing and building your race cars...remember there will be awards for top designs and speed!

Did you watch the Winter Olympics last month? Join us this Tuesday, March 17, for the Awana version of Olympics games! You won't see these games on TV, but you will enjoy participating in Awana Olympics at New Hope Bible Church because every clubber is on our Olympics teams! See you Tuesday!!

This Tuesday evening is "Team Color Night!" Show your team spirit by wearing something that shows your team color! A special 'Thank You!' to all the parents who visited our clubs last week and saw their children in action! Clubbers: don't forget this is "Adopt a Club Month!" Thank you to those who have already turned in your $5.00 donation, which will help support Awana Clubs in Indonesia! We have until the end of this month to earn money by doing chores at home so you can fill your donation envelopes! Keep up the good work! (and 'Thank You' parents for your support!)

Next Tuesday, Feb. 24, introduces our "Missions/Adopt-a-Club" theme for the month of March. Each year our clubs support an Awana club in another country where children are introduced to Jesus...just like our clubs at New Hope Bible! This year, the money that is donated by our clubbers will be sent to an Awana program in Indonesia! Join us this coming week for more details!
